Love the ranking! For me, it’s….. 1. Return to the Isle of the Lost. I love how the book connects the movies and the animated series, that’s one of the reasons why it always caught my attention! Jordan will always be my favorite AK cause she’s different from everyone else in Auradon and I just love her personality. Another is the mystery that’s been going on with a dragon, snake, Hines burning down, classic whodunnit mystery! I also love Freddie too! 2. Rise of the Isle of the Lost! I love how Mal and the others were willing to help a friend in need when Arabella screwed up and they know what it’s like since they can relate to her. Also, Uma and her journey to becoming the known pirate queen we all know and love! The quest she took upon herself when she heard about the trident was an adventure and she almost succeeded if it wasn’t for a certain purple haired fairy! And we get even more of how Ben handles his duties as King. 3. The Isle of the Lost! A good prequel that started it all! I’ll admit, I got the book after the first movie came out and I regretted not getting it b4 the movie aired. It was fascinating to read about all the villains and their kids and how the core 4 formed! 4. Escape from the Isle of the Lost! It’s literally everyone graduating in Auradon Prep and felt proud of everyone and for what our favorite 4 VKs are accomplishing with their VK program! Hades’ introduction was nicely written and his team up with Uma was also done right! Celia came thru at the end when she used her shadow to seal up the barrier and I just love to hear how close she is with Freddie. She sounded excited to hang out with her again, I mean they are sisters after all! 5. Beyond the Isle of the Lost Wonderland! I’ll admit that it’s not my favorite on the top list, but I did enjoy reading about Red’s life in Wonderland and her relationship with her mother! I like that Red doesn’t want to be like her mother and want her own life that doesn’t revolve around being an evil queen and how she got to know what having friends and a potential lover felt like until her mom took that away from her with the palms of her hands. That part is what made me shed some tears. I’ll tell you this! That is the only book in the world that I’ve ever read that made me cry. Even in the series alone. I felt bad for poor Ace and Chester! I hope when the next book comes out, they’ll be alright!
