More of these kind of pouch and pack reviews would be good. Waist bags, hip bags, concealed carry pouches etc.

That material looks like what they used to call “parapack” and yes, they made sport parachute containers out of that. I think they stopped doing that about ten years ago because it ripped easier than the traditional high denier cordura. I’m sure it’s perfectly fine for these applications.

LAPG makes affordable gear that, in terms of quality, punches above its weight. I use their gloves, their boots, their pants. Might look into this. I ain’t scared of a fanny pack, or what some people call a bum bag.

You were right; they were the most epic zipper tests I have ever seen! Thanks for posting.

Lol! I carried a leather fanny pack at the front waist daily for a Walther PPKS starting in 1980, but after a while they just screamed “gun!” and then went out of style. Still one of the most efficient ways to carry, and I like this chest rig on pack option even more. Also can’t believe the great price on this. Appreciate the thorough review; these kind of reviews are very practical and helpful! 👍

Aaron thanks for the great information! That is one of the better waist packs I've ever seen. Thanks for sharing and for your hard work in bringing this information to us. Be safe out there and may God bless you and your family!

Great idea using that pack as a chest rig! That is a lot of pack for the money. Very versatile.

Man I love what you did with that vice city 80s patch and the lime yellow/green zipper extension. I’m gonna do that with my vertx socp add a Jason mask patch with the double machetes going through with it. THE ULTIMATE 80s modern setup. P365 socp blade it’s gonna be epic

Great review Aaron, as usual. You can’t use the main compartment organizer if you use the holster but it’s nice to have 2 options. Also the holster is “backwards” when you get it. You just have twist it to the Velcro side. I really like mine. It seems every time I watch your videos I spend money. 😂

I bought 3 of these...... 2 of them, I use to carry trauma pack (from LAPG), tourniquet, trauma shears, tape, and a couple of curlex rolls. I can also add a small "boo-boo kit". The other, a friend uses for their concealed carry (that no one even notices). 👍👍👍👍

G'day Aaron, that pass through is a real winner IMO. I added plain wait belts to my 5.11 packs, something like this would be very complimentary. Personally I don't do chest rig, (reserved for compass and binos), but good to know the versatility is there all the same. Handy vid mate, thanks and cheers Duke.

I do this with my Hill people rig. I cut the back harness off and attach it to any bag. When I go to take my bag off, I undo one of the D carabiners, and it stays on the bag. I have other waist packs that I use for other occasions when I dont need a back pack.

These are great for the price. They’re like a cheaper version of the Helikon. Thank you for the review.

That is the only hip bag that has those combo attaching points and removable belt with tuck away sleeves. So if u get this particular bag ur good but other waist packs do not.

Wish i could remember the name but there is an ITW Nexus part that would replace the S Biners. I use this part to add shoulder strap to Magpul Daka Takeout pouches. They are like a 1" rectangle with a cut-out. There are the same concept as split buckles. Your way is very cool tho.

Been using this bag for a little wile. I've had better luck attaching some velcro to the back of a kydex holster for when I'm carrying a gun in it. It's held up good.

Completely a different direction. Do you find your 5 11 pants run true to size to what you normally wear. I’m thinking of buying a pair but their sizing chart is a little confusing. Thanks
