It's not on ball bearings , it has a thin Teflon washer and a thin bronze washer sandwiched together on each side and a D shaped pivot . I've carried mine every day since i got it along with a SAK Classic .

Very nice and thorough review, as usual. Looks like a cool blade and kind of reminds me of a larger Leek (the blade at least). Have three Ruike blades and they won't be the only ones, haha. Great stuff from them.

Aaron ruike makes a knife the P-121 hussar, I think you would really like it, i got one about a year ago and have been carrying it everyday for a little while now, it’s an amazing knife, 3+ inch blade and has ball bearings, I think I paid 30-35 dollars for it, I think if you really like the ruike blades you have then you will definitely like the hussar, I love your channel man. -Kyle

I had the same knife, although I ended up selling it to pay some bills. Been very sad to have to sell a large portion of my collection. However, I agree, think he would like it. Sweet blade shape and excellent action, no doubt. The only downside to it in my opinion is that it is a very thick knife in the pocket.

Darth Croll I’m sorry to hear that, that really sucks, but I can feel your pain to an extent, I haven’t had to sell any yet but recently found out my fiancée and I are going to be having a baby so I’ve all but stopped buying knives. But I really think he would like the hussar it is a great blade, it makes me think of like a samurai sword just a mini folding version of one haha. It definitely is a bit thick in the pocket but it doesn’t bother me too much, I do love the action in it it’s very smooth.

Boo that it's not ambidextrous. For me, a better deployment and a better looking folder in the business world would be a flipper. Studs look too tactical. Also, I would prefer a more subdued pocket clip. Seen anything like that?

I'm left handed and I'd use it. I don't bother switching pocket clips around most knives, it isn't a big enough of a issue to bother. As for the thumb stud, it's not my favorite deployment option but it's ok. I can do a middle finger flick or I could switch it around by unscrewing it. But I do agree, it would have been better as a flipper.
