Someone asked about Kathy keeping her hand on Janet's back. I suppose it is from habit. When they started out on the Welk show, they needed to stand close for the camera. By placing their hands on their sister's backs, they were sure to be in frame. Many choirs and small groups use this technique. Besides, they love each other. I find it endearing.

Yes yes yes!!! Truly amazing talent, sisters + family. Just precious to see them. Si marvelous how they move the same, turn to the camera without much effort. Each sister, is totally in their own space. Just love them so much. Especially to see Peggy! Oh. Her voice is amazing!!! Wow wow wow!

Love the Lennon sisters! Their Dad was our milkman when growing up in Westchester. Calif, 1950’s era. My friend, J. Napier introduced new to the Lennon Sisters who lived in her neighborhood in a Santa Monica. I am blessed.. I pray all is well with you and yours.

The Lennon sisters were a pretty fertile bunch. Peggy was the most proficient with seven offspring but all the others had kids except Kathy what was up with her? Their parents had eleven children and look at the talent it produced! Maybe she or her husband couldn't have them but she kind of let the side down a bit.

Kathy had some health issues and was never able to have children. She has said it is her biggest regret.

I shouldn't resurrect this years-old lousy comment but I have to say... why in hell would you write "what was up with her?"?!? Have you never heard of the countless kinds of injuries, illnesses or conditions that might cause a woman to be unable to bear children? Asking 'what was up with her?' (and that stupid 'kind of let the side down' comment especially) is just rude and insensitive. Some women are not able to bear children, for many reasons, but you write as if she had a choice in the matter. Did she somehow do wrong by YOU? Good lord, letting 'the side down a bit', are you f'ing kidding me? As if YOU somehow feel some annoyance at it, where she has felt sorrow over it beyond measure. I ought to crack your thick skull.
