Not being an Aussie, I'm guessing Esky is short for Eskimo, which might be a brand name for a cooler box? Ute I know is Aussie for utility vehicle, what we call a pickup in the Northern Hemisphere. Gido's channel is one of the very best on YT, and I am no fisherman and have never had the first inclination of even wanting to try rock climbing.

I think the same, Gido is the best one of my favourite fishing youtubers he should be in the millions but he never reminds people to hit the like button and subscribe. That is what usually prompts me to do it on other channels.

Fishing is one of those things that very many have done once or twice and moved on. Others like myself, have done it since I could walk on two legs. So did my parents. I’ve fished freshwater on the mainland as a boy and fished most my adult life in the ocean in Hawaii. Some of you probably have a similar lifestyle. But we aren’t all that common. Gido climbs down cliffs on ropes and fishes places nobody in their right mind would try to fish. Which makes him extraordinary. But I’m not surprised he doesn’t have a million subs, you have to remember that we are kind of unique in our tastes. I like that about it. Nothing pop or mainstream going on here.
