Gift Bag Pop Up Card Perfect Last Minute Valentine Card

I have received several challenge photos or tutorials of projects you guys are asking me to do a tutorial on, I love doing that and I still have a few to come. This one was a really fun one to figure out and I hope you enjoy it, it could be used for any occasion!
Measures and Scores:
A2 card base 8 1/2 by 5 1/2 inches scored at 4 1/2 folded in half.
3 inch x 11 inch patterned paper for gift bag scored at
1/2, 1, 5, 5 1/2, 6. 10, 10 1/2 inches
Score on the 3 inch side at 3/8 of an inch up from the bottom.

Our God sure works in mysterious ways. I literally had spent over an hour researching this exact technique the night you posted this. It was exhausting. The only thing I found was the WRMK Pop-Up Gift Bag die (06-03-15), but no tutorial on how to do this without their die set. Thank you so much and my arthritic hands thank you even more. Maymay, If you look at some bags, there is a piece of coordinating paper to reinforce the handles just like you did with the washi. I love this idea! I'm making one for a baby shower at work. Thanks for figuring this out😊

I would like to make cards but I'm still trying to build up some supplies and I have a lot of birthdays and miscellaneous cards to send and the $1.88 box sets of cards at Walmart are actually decent quality for a cheap set of 12 so I stocked up on those but now I'm going to embellish them with little gift bags to make them cute for the gift cards :)
