Why are they repeating the same mistakes made in other business centers? there are literally no footpaths, roads are very narrow - just 2 lanes each way, no separate paths for two wheelers or cycles, no separate emergency lane, no provision for BRTS and bus stops, so many inter-junctions, crossroads that will interrupt the traffic flow, no space for restaurants, social hub, after work parties..there should have been an interconnected metro or mono-rail type set-up facilitating smooth movement within the GIFT city..they had a blank canvas here, huge empty land and yet there are so many mistakes in planning!

This is master of planning they copy this I think from Japan. Actually this city have different traffic rule with implementing same speed. Multiple lane to in and Multiple lane to out. Even thousands of cars can pass through this road because overtaking is not allow and all will run in sane speed. Also their is no walking path that connects city but there is walking path if you want to move internally in city. Means you cannot get into city by walking you have your car or take metro to reach city but inside city there is a walking lane

Don't compare it with Mumbai bkc... Bkc is full developed and gift city is still developing there are only 7 to 8 buildings ls in gift city, bkc is full of buildings, gift city still need to complete then it will be comparable

Dubai was also same like 10 years before but today we can see how many big buildings Skyscrapers and facilities,I think gift city have good chance to do something and Dholera international city too and gujrat government is doing good and they are providing good facilities and tax benefit ❤❤I hope these two cities will be more big than other any Indian cities for international level 😊

Gift City Planned by Narendra Modi when his CM of Gujarat in 2009. Initially This is fully funded by Gujarat state Government. After 2013 Narendra Modi become Prime Minister Gift Get Some funds from Central Government. So, Gift City Majorly found by Gujarat Government and Private sectors. Gujarat Government yearly allocate 5000 cr in Budget for GIFT City. So, don't spread fake news

I think you talk about IFSC. India need IFSC and GIFT City and BKC Mumbai both are compite for Getting IFSC. So, Both are planning For that but BKC does do much progress in that time and GIFT City lot's of done to get IFSC. So, Central Government Decided to GIFT City is India's first IFSC in 2019. GIFT City have Better Planing and Effort to get IFSC centre. lot's of Potential for Expansion in Future. So, Maharashtra and Gujarat Both have planned for IFSC Centre. But GIFT City is Ahead in Every Aspects to Get IFSC Centre, that's Get. Do Some Fact base talk GIFT City is Seperate Project and Maharashtra BKC Financial Hub for IFSC Centre is Seperate Project. Both are Compite Each other in 2019 for IFSC.
