The kaftan cloth we call it "baju kelawar" ( kelawar means BAT ) as you wear it it has wings like bat😂 Its the most comfortable pyjama for me!

The one in the green plastic bag that you can cook is called Nasi Impit. You can cook it in pressure cooker or just normal pot with water. Don't cut it right away. Wait for it to cool so it's easy for you to cut it into cube. The one you said sambal is called Serunding. You can eat the Nasi Impit with Serunding. Malaysians love to have home-made cookies or Kuih. Last time, it used to be a family activity. Now, it is getting lesser people to bake those home-made cookies or Kuih for festival celebration. But still, we love to eat. Good food can still be found. Particular shops or families will still do the baking AND cooking! Trust me, it is lucky to especially to have Baba and Nyonya friends! As a Malaccan, I am lucky to have most of my friends from Baba and Nyonya. GOOD food, good tradition and good clothing! I was even taught to make bead shoes! #Blimey will love them~! I shall make one for you guys. =)

Gula-gula is candy, 사탕 in Korean. There are various other candies in Malaysia too. The Hacks candy has a hidden message from its acronym H.A.C.K.S. - "Hanya Aku Cinta Kau Seorang" / Only Me Love Only You (in English). For example, school students would give this candy to their crushes as a hint of their feelings. It can also express your concern towards the other person as the candy can ease sore throat. So it's like a love confession from that Blimer to Blimey

Yes making home made kuih is malaysian tradition and sometime its take a whoke month while fasting to make all the kuih that served on hari raya 😂.. actually the process that we enjoy while making kuih.. do it together strengthen the relationship. 😉

At 6:45 it is called Kueh Semprit. And yes, it melts in your mouth. Almost every household in Malaysia bake/make their own kueh raya. But if you can't afford time, you can always buy it anytime & anywhere.
