I’ve been singing almost my whole life I didn’t really start taking it seriously til about 3 years ago tho I’m almost a senior in high school now and I have been taking choir since freshman year and I am taking it again my senior year I sing with karaoke videos almost every night or just freehand no music almost every night I have become a lot more confident in myself than I was when I began choir something That someone told me that has stuck with me ever since I first heard Is if you are in a class no matter how good the other students are focus on how good you are and as soon as you become more confident you can take criticism and you are going to get less criticism

I used to only sing in front of my self and my family now I am going into my fourth year of choir class and I also sang for my moms wedding to my stepdad in October no one is perfect practicing singing gives you so much more confidence I learned that recently

@@ShiggysBae my advice would be find some songs that you are confident in and practice those over again till it’s as good as you can get it also it might be easier to sing in your room or by yourself a couple times then once you get confidence in yourself enough then move into singing infront of your family. Once you get confident enough in that then you will be able to sing in public most likely also remember that you have your own unique voice no one is the same and no one is perfect.

it's so beautiful .... how they do it, I can sing too, and despite the few times I managed to sing in front of people and they told me that I had a beautiful voice, I block myself and am afraid... I would so much like to be able to let go like them
