I've been waiting for the collective mind of skateboarding to crown Bob the official GOAT. He blew everybody out of the water when in his respective "lane." There are so many memories of Bob's insanity, just to name a few: Switch loop, 2001 Philly xgames vert run to beat bucky, taking the brick chucking jock's passion project (mega ramp) and turning it into his playland, loop without the roof, the insanity of his early 2000's vert parts in menikmati, firm part, and extremely sorry. Then you have some individual gems like the fakie 9 on mega... He's done everything, better than everybody else. edit: He made it look good too edit 2: Bob Burnquist rocked the single elbow pad like 20 years ago. Agree with mini parks - we just had a park made called City Mill in east London and it’s made to fit in a small corner of the Olympic park that was built in 2012. It’s been designed my locals and very curb / bank / polejam oriented - super fun

Crazy how you mentioned the shitty gray fake wood apartment flooring. I have that in my apartment and I just got done being pissed off at how shitty it is. On top of that, the industry name of the stuff is "luxury vinyl plank". That's what really gets me. That the fuckers who make the stuff insult our intelligence enough to fucking call it "luxury". It's dogshit. What happened to hardwood floors? The house I grew up in had hardwood, and that was a cheap house when it was built. I'm a carpenter by trade so I know quality when I see it. If you're using quarter round, or even worse, just caulk, to hide the gap around the edge, then you're doing a cheap job. Wouldn't be so bad if the fuckers would just admit that it's a low end product. You want quality? Go for hardwood or tile. Like half the mfers out there seem to actually believe the lie. Fucking landleeches will install that shit, caulk the edges, then raise rent by 20%. At least when linoleum was in style, everyone knew it was low end. Fuck
