Same mere case me v hua. dad ke pass ek redmi ka 5 sal purana mobile tha....filhal uska memory kam tha isliye long time se update pending tha. Aab mere naukri mile hue 1 saal se zyada hi gya hai, (lekin tumhare jaise lucky to tha nahi mai ki product company me job karu....toh maine kuch mahine pehle online se Samsung A31 (although target M31 Prime tha) gift kar diye. He was first of all angry that I gave his phone a massive upgrade - 2GB ram to 6 GB ram, 16 GB internal to 128 GB internal and battery size change from 4000 mAh with 10 w charger to 5000 mAh with 15 W adaptive fast charger way too soon since the phone was still able to work as a basic smartphone. But i must say he was happy within himself that he got an upgrade. Mai to bas wait kar rha hun kab mai khud ka paiso se maa ka phone upgrade kardun....

In India we have so much rich culture that parents will not buy anything for thier self and will try to buy anything that their childeren wants. But reason behind this is very deep that you will eventuallly learn with time. In India parents dream that there child first of all well settle in life and their second and most obvious goal is that you buy your own house and if you own house already than you must save enogh money to buy some other land because they beliave investment will always helps in bad times.
