As a 15 years old I loved going Xmas shopping with my mum because I knew they would have asked her if she wanted the presents wrapped and she would say yes as she was too busy organising the holidays ( in Italy involves going to church speaking with relatives deciding what to cook etc ) so I would just watch the assistant wrappings all sorts ..and get lots of tingles from the ASMR .

I started Christmas gift wrapping early this year and this has been a lifesaver. My husband usually wraps the gifts but unfortunately he’s not with us for this holiday season. Normally my wrapping style looks like horse crap but so far it’s turned out amazing following this tutorial.

If taping to the box itself then you could cause tape pull tears on the box when unwrapping and opening this. If someone were to open this fast than it would cost tears in the box. If you use a sacrificial box to wrap up then this does create beautiful seams and wrapping but if they care about keeping a box without tape marks on it when it gets opened then wrapping in a way to keep any of the tape from touching the box is important.
