Another great gig vlog Rich! Last gig you used the Tonex One with the HX Stomp. This gig just the Stomp. Which set up sounds better?
@RichBischoff15 күн бұрын
Both sound great. But tonex I use more for my classic rock tribute band and hx stomp for the Bread tribute band.

This is fantastic! I wish I had kept up with your schedule. Branson is 3-4 hours from where I live. I would have loved to have seen the show and met you in person.

You should have, we will be back to Branson next year in November I think.

With the HX Stomp you don't need a DI if you don't want to use one. It can handle TRS 1/4 to XLR conversion on the stomp. Great Video! I enjoyed watching it.

The other guitarist in the band does that.

Rich, is there reasonable money in your Toast gigs. Tribute bands appear to get paid a lot more than cover bands especially when there popular.

It's not bad.

Gonna add to my previous comment l have played Kemper Stage and Head for 8 yr l guess and l have never used a direct box. I have run stereo or mono to house and a powered cab on stage. The Kemper has a “monitor out” feature that lets love for getting some stage volume. What’s the point of these direct boxes. I mostly play in churches

Hx stomp doesn't have xlr outs. Need a di box to run xlr to foh.

why do people use rugs under them, it doesn't do anything sound wise

Great video. Some 20 years ago I got a Neumann U47 MIC that was in the trash a doctor put in the garbage. Long story on that. I sent it off to England along with the power supply to get refurbished. The ass hole I sent it to Stole it. His name was Ashly Styles. This loss after 20 years still bugs me. Karma is a bitch. If not in this life than the next this guy will pay 7 fold....
