​​@@pouihurmenThe difference is that Eviterno change the attack pattern sometimes (taking more distance, making the down attack in different sides, changing the attack, etc) so it isn't too much cosistent, but Asterion is. You just enter into the boss fight, he do the sword strike and he is done, he won't change the attack pattern until 2nd phase when he just do the laser thing or the dark meta knight attack. So much potential wasted, he's like a Esdras 2.0 but worse

I just about had an aneurysm when I realized that Brother Asterion's moveset is mostly a vastly improved version of Esdras of the Anointed Legion's moveset. Hit me when I saw his spinning move that launches projectiles in both directions.

Love that game i have 100% it was cool if the game have ng+like Blasphemous 1 same with this One with all weapons and beads.I must confess that it let me down on this One we start with nothing after all the trouble to get then.At least that they give US the option of from zero or with all upgrades.Maybe in the future they Will make like the first one

Late tip, but you have to pay close attention to sound cues with him. Spin move has a very distinct sound before he commits to it.

The lore is actually given away from the achievements, they detail the whole process from his master dying to encasing him in the sword and going on.a pilgrimage, also I think the lore is left vague on purpose as in the final scene of the new ending, it shows the sword Crack, meaning we may get a future dlc based on it..

I don't think they forgot. Considering how meticulous Blasphemous' story writing is, most likely there's more to come. They teased it with a post-credit scene as well like what they did with Crisanta's ribbon. Either another DLC for Blasphemous 2 that ties in with Brother Asterion (His "Master", where he came from, story of his sword like what they did with Mea Culpa, why is he after The Penitent One, etc.) or the next installment, Blasphemous 3. Or maybe I'm just coping because I love the game. 💀

@@Kashi-qo8ik TBF, most of the players (including me) just continued where the base game left off to play the DLC. I finished the game months ago and moved on to bunch of other games. Forgetting something "mentioned" is common considering how cryptic most of the dialogue of the NPC's are in-game. Now that you've said they're mentioned in the base game, I'll definitely give it another playthrough. Might as well do it in True Torment mode since I've read that nothing other than Cherubs carry over NG+ (which is disappointing IMO).

he keeps getting me woth his spin moves in the final battle. i can basically no damge no hit maxmize punish each punish window for his all other move but that spin sh&t is making me seathe. took me like 30mins to learn him. from then, it has been almost 3 hours of me perfect minmaxing counter punishing his every window during his moveset then he will do spin sh&t and wh00ps me instantly. for 3 hours. fqdis guy

I'd have to go with Brother Asterion, replaying blasphemous 1 made me realize that true Crisanta wasn't really that hard, as long as you can parry decently, you can beat her with ease., Asterion requires a bit more than that though.

Crisanta by a long shot. I melted asterion with a S&C build and a few parries, the lightning damage buildup can get pretty crazy. Crisanta on the other hand took me quite a few tries to beat

took me 30 mins to learn him. then after that it has been 3 hours of me perfect dodging not getting any hit absolutely styling on him with my RuAlba and minmaxing his punish windows with 5 often 6 hits , then he will do his bs spin move and k&ll me in a few of these , always with 3/2 even 4heals remaining. his bs spin sh&t i can anticipate and predict perfectly yet that i fq up sometimes and if he catches me directly with his sw0rd then the stunlocks guarantees another hit making it instak&ll. this is going on for 3 hours now, waated my whole morning also did i mention sometimes by pure RNG while he is doing his beyblade sh&t in the centre of the screen he will track you and chamge directions just instak&ll your run that was basically no hit until this point. fq this move. build: i dont have the third +++ phys def bead yet, so have equipped ++ and + . and the other one never matters i dont even get hot by these. altar peieces: they are melee DPS focus synergy: Ruega Alba dmg boosts, other one stops time every tine i heal (better heals + better stuns = stop time on enhanced heal) not that it matters either his melee spin instak&lls me cuz he hits me second time even before i hit the ground i EZ GGed Eviterno in a few tries. but fqdisguy. he would have been my fab B2 boss if i could nerf his spin sht

You can completely negate his spin move just by spamming counter. If you have trouble seeing when he's gonna spin then you probably need to readjust your approach.

I'm prolly in the minority here but I didn't find him to be as impressive. There's quite a few ways to cheese him and I'm not sure we needed to fight him twice back to back. Imo they fail to flesh out his character, he's a worse version of Crisanta from the first game, both in design and moveset. They don't even bother to have him question his so called master or his motivations, and he just kills himself once he's defeated. So lame. He's in no way a gigachad.
