The one benefit of the longer AK is that they are more accurate, which can come handy sometimes. AKS74 tend to struggle at long range.

I ran the Klin for a long while during the first week of this wipe and can vouch for it for what some might consider an unexpected reason: PBM ammo has 28 pen (for reference, AP 6.3 9x19 has 30 pen) and can be bought at a rate of 350 rounds per restock from Prapor 2 for relatively cheap, making it surprisingly effective against early-wipe armour up close even if the base flesh damage of 40 is pretty rough at range Very useful video, lots of stuff I didn't consider, good stuff

Ive been running almost exclusively 545 AKs this wipe with found ammo and it's been amazing. PS, PP, BP and even BT are found pretty frequently in loose ammo spawns and thats been enough for me to not only run the AKs but even build up a pretty decent stockpile of ammo. Thats my main reason for mostly staying away from 556 guns so far this wipe. I see no reason to bother with the bad available ammo selection when I'm loading PP, BP and BT into my AKs.

@@paranikumarlpk the sandbag areas around K, the two hangers on the ground floor of hermetic bunker, on top of the boxes between the knights, in the garage near the truck in black knight, on top of king, white bishop, white pawn, and black pawn as well as all the various weapon boxes. There are some pallets and boxes at the buildings in the northwest as well(near the rb-vo marked room). Also I’ve noticed when I scav reserve on a us server it’s almost always picked clean. And don’t forget to check the mags of dead scavs for ammo as well

I should mention Gigabeef that the Tarkov Shooter part 3 (whichever the one id where you shoot PMCs within 40m with a boltaction.) That quest UNLOCKS the ability to craft .366tkm AP-M now. So sadly if you want to use .366TKM for that quest id use EKO. Personally i had better luck with a short mosin loaded with FMJ.

Btw, the mechanic op-sks barter is quite literally one of the best bang for buck barter in the game as, no, you can't mod a better one from jaeger since it already comes with the best mod setup for ergo+recoil and on top of that only costs roughly 50k rouble and only requires you to put a better mag on it + a muzzle device and a dovetail optic or just the long rail that gives giga ergo for 10k roubles.

Yep, for some reason in this wipe the UAS configuration is better in both recoil and Ergo than the Tapco configuration.....idk why but almost nobody notice it (making the UAS worth in price and stats, also Gunsmith is making the Tapco imposible to bought it cheap)

first off love your content keep up the great work we all appreciate it. anywho constructive criticism time the aug has the best base recoil of your 556 options at level 2 traders and gets 30 rounders at level 2 peacekeeper. because not a whole lot of people run the aug and it has 2x dedicated aug only suppressors they tend to be cheap on the flee with the aug a3 version often being cheaper then the g36 and can let you put a red dot on the 1.5X or you can just run the 1.5x and the a1 for a budget gun. 762x51 bcp fmj has a craft now thats very cheap. you need 2x blue kite gunpowders for x120 rounds making the rfb and other 762x51 guns more viable at lower levels and deserves a shoutout you can craft with level 2 workbench requiring level 2 mechanic. 762x54r lps also has a new level 2 workbench craft 70x fmj rounds + 1x red hawk gunpower for 70x lps and with every other good level 2 ammo craft being removed like 856a1 their isnt a lot of better options then lps and bcp fmj atm. and lps has the advantage over t46 of not being a tracer making it harder for your targets or third parties to spot you at a distance especially at night and with a gun like the svd that preforms best at a distance. like you said the two rounds are near identical and if you just have a red dot for cqb its probably not going to matter but if you want to snipe with a longer range scope lps can save your butt from being counter sniped. the saiga 10 rounders are level 2 jaeger locked behind chemical 2 which a lot of players do early to finish that line and get a injector case from therapist. the 20 rounders are also pretty cheap early wipe and unless you are going factory or fighting 4-5 mans 1x 20 rounder is usually enough with a few 5 and 10 rounders. you can get the pt 1 which now takes a rubber butt stock and can get pt 3 preformance with level 2 traders albeit with higher weight and get a few muzzel options and handguard and grip and end up with a pretty viable cqb weapon with a magazine capacity thats beyond every other shotgun. its niche and situational but early wipe with a lot of people not having amazing armor and rounds and level 2 traders access to piranha rounds this is its niche right now. prapor has a level 2 barter for 20 rounder vss/val mags for a tech manual and when fence has them in stock he will have hundreds which he sells for 5k each. both the vss and val are very cheap early wipe due to anesthesia giving everyone a found in raid val and people not knowing this trick to get mags. as you have said in previous videos you dont really NEED a foregrip all that much and sp5 early wipe with the great fire rate and low recoil preforms well enough. and funny enough the r43 bater for milk is also level 2 so you can make a full meta val minus the foregrip at level 2. currently 100% vals with dust covers and a mag are 67k and the vss 53k. i normally buy a single 30 rounder off flee and constantly top it off and if you use a cheap kobra the gun and mags combined can come to around 100k with a 30 rounder off flee. another good sudo level 2 option is the 45 vector. you get level 2 skier mag barters for 1x strike cigarette which is often around 5-10k on flee and 5k when fence has it in stock. when fence has them i stock up on mags and the guns basically a ump with better stock recoil then a modded ump with 5 more rounds and almost twice the fire rate. fmj rounds are cheap and hit pretty hard early wipe especially with the armor changes and most importantly its cheap. currently 30k on flee for the gun and with cheap mag barters and cheap sub 1$ rounds (ask for a few hundred rounds the cost will be 20% lower) its a great budget gun to mag dump people with.

The AUG for 578 dollars on PK2 is really nice. Very low recoil compared to G36C, and you can just pick it up and go. Only question is, is the sight usable for you? I don't mind it

I buy the aug a3 on flea for 75,000 roubles, people sell the raider version that comes with a holo and a flashlight, just make sure you get one at good max durability, and you have an absolute beam of a weapon, with good moa, a sight, and a flashlight for less than 100k after repairing. I also craft 5.56 SOST in workbench lvl 2, it is 2 pen better than m855, and the craft is only around 400 a bullet.

That Mechanic 2 SKS barter is nuts, and you can’t build one better at level 2. For 35-45k, you get a ~70 recoil 7.62 weapon. Slap on a muzzle brake and a compact 2 and you have a nasty little tapper for dirt cheap.

Thanks for the review, currently lvl 17. .45 ACP Vector is ridiculously cheap on flee now. It's 1100 rpm laser beam. Mags are around 10k via barter. Unlimited match fmj stock. IMHO it's the best SMG for lvl 2 vendors ammo.

I've been using t46m for punisher 6 and can say that it's pen can be not enough. I've had two long range encounters where armor ate half of my damage around 170 damage dealt/ 170 blocked by armor. Also I had close range hipfire case where I hit 4 shots and his armor let through around 25 dmg. I don't understand what's happening, but armor plates seem to block high pen ammo absolutely unconditionally.

when comparing the big ak to lil ak, you do have to note that the big ak's "muzzle velocity" is SIGNIFICANTLY higher than the little ak, allow faster one taps, and more accurate shots at 80m plus. the longer barrel makes the weapon much more effective at a distance, and the rounds are flying trough the air faster. this is arguably the only real difference between the ak, i'm surprised it wasn't mentioned when comparing

Perhaps, but for 100m ranges the longer aks hit in 111ms vs the short aks in 137ms - just not sure it makes that much difference. Its only slightly slower than the M1A for example & after 100m you probably shouldn't be using 5.45 anyway is my take!

AKM is good because you can find 7.62x39 BP so easy, i have a full stack of it just from finding it off of ground zero map. I also found 23 rounds MAI AP. if you want to find those, or 9x39 bp, or m855a1 (also got full stack of that), or .300 ap, loot the dead scav and pmc body loot containers all across the map, and open that room on the sides of the parking garage when you're leaving, as it has an ammo box, and an ammo box usually spawns in the back of the truck right by that room, and there are many dead scavs there. i found bullets like ap6.3, most of any high pen bullets you need. there is a key for that room, but it's useless for now since you can breach the door.

In regards to LL1 AK’s the reason people buy full size AK’s is for the muzzle velocity, sure an AKS has a little better control, but on maps where longer sight lines are expected I think they’re edged out a bit

I unlocked peacekeeper 3 and plan on run a lot of p90. What confuses me, however, are the stats of SB193 and L191 on different websites. several tarkov apps/websites place SB193/27 pen over L191/33 pen. websites that list pen drop on distance, claim SB193 would have 34 pens on 50m. Im not sure which one have more pen... Atm i prefer L191 because it is much faster.

That recoil pivot after first shot looks very strange. What is more - why pivot movement stops after it reaches some angle? Like what? Our char suddenly recalls how to brace a rifle? New recoil is better than what it was, but its still strange. Pivot should be removed.

I would argue against removing pivot mechanics completely, they allow to simulate much stronger recoil without disorienting the player too much, but it is strange that recoil doesn't just continiously rotate the camera upwards. I would like pivot staying as is and making recoil affect camera angle more so that you still have to control recoil after the initial pivot push
