Best thing about this wipe is the recoil. Gunplay in a gun game finally feels amazing. Still wish the spear was locked behind an easier quest though :(

The ammo availability as well. The best part of the recoil update is that it makes aim I bigger equalizer. I work 60ish hours a week so being able to spray faces with base guns and low recoil skill is very nice. Before, if a camera across a kitted player it was either I get the one tap or I die.

Maybe an unkitted spear but I think the kitted spear should stay behind that hard ass task. The spear is OP as balls and getting that spear with everything on it too early would just make every other weapon obsolete once you hit it. It’s also still an experimental weapon system so I think it should stay super rare. Our military doesn’t even have them yet but PMCs in Tarkov somehow do

Interesting fact, the ks23 was made using defective 23mm anti-air cannon barrels. Defective usually from a bore that wasn't straight. So the incorrect aim is actually intentional, but still annoying.

I know it likely didn't fit because of the fact that it is covering traders specifically, but the DSA SA 58 is ridiculous this wipe. As soon as you have access to flea, you have access to the weapon, and with BCP FMJ 7.62x51 available at LL3 Jaeger. For about 100k all told, you get a full auto .308 rifle with several 20 round mags and some spare rounds. It is very underrated after the recoil change as it has been pretty much untouched since it's initial nerf. It is definitely worth a spin and it is hands down one of the best guns in the game again.

I think SA58 will be meta later in this wipe. That gun should be flea banned instead of the other 7.62 ones. The m1a is so bad.

M855 isn't actually $2/round, it's actually $1.55 which you will only see when you buy 100 rounds. It's great value, I zip tons of PMCs with it still.

m80 = PK3 quest unlock revision - lighthouse. Been stocking up on almost 1k bullets by now, insane value at $4 per bullet. Run this with an rfb or a sa-58 if you have mechanic 3 for attachments, super strong.

14:10 one thing you have to take in to consideration is that US ammo is sub-sonic (300m/s) and attempting to shoot it past 100m is very hard

I think its also worth pointing out that you can unlock M80 from Peacekeeper lvl 3 shortly into his quest chain. It's 1-2 tasks after Humanitarian Supplies I believe. I don't even have him to lvl 3 yet but have already completed the task to allow me to buy it (currently lvl 21 so not to far off).

You need the longer KS-34m barrel. The smaller barrel makes it almost useless unless you are within (seriously) 30 or so feet. I have tested it. do NOT use slugs with the small barrel. Just rush with the good shrapnel ammo if you are using the smaller barreled one.

Ironically if you remove the foregrip from the AUG, it drastically reduces the horizontal recoil. May be a bug as the opposite should probably be the case and it makes the gun look ugly, but yeah remove the foregrip on the AUG to make it even more of a laser beam.

Hey giga! Could you do some testing with lasers? My friend and I noticed that when hip firing the rounds land much higher than the laser, and the laser that comes with the new sight (the boss xe or something) becomes disjointed when reloading and ends up pointing down into the barrel. I think that barricade for KS-23 is bugged because as slug it does not provide any bonus for accuracy, contrariwise, it has -5% accuracy, and thus the accuracy with barricade slugs is worse than with Shrapnel rounds - around 25-35 MOA. Therefore it is literally unusable while running with barricades as you won’t hit anything

ap6.3 won't go through a level 4 plate, however if you're using an smg with a high enough fire rate you can just brute-force the plate anyway

ps 7.62x54 unlocks prapor 3 after completing punisher part 6. SVT off the flea and PS ammo is ideal.

sp and hp bt for 7.62x54r is pretty good still since it can 1 shot the thorax and pen the level 2 soft armor bits. It's what I run in my bolt actions.

I haven't played in a long time now, but about that SVD ammo. Isn't SNB very common? I remember when I played a lot I found SNB all the time where ammo normally spawn. Also, I remember mosin scavs often had SNB or BT. Especially when I got a mosin player scav I very often spawned with BT.

interesting to see the SR-2M performing so bad for you, to be honest i only run it with 30 round mags and its performing crazy good. wipe i played mainly the mp5 and i wanted to play around with other weapons more. I got stuck on the SR-2M especially for Factory. i not once died on factory while holding that gun(factory is my fav map so that my confort zone anyway). I mostly ran 7u4 and now BT since i unlocked that a few days ago. On other maps i it often runs out of ammo so you really need multible stacks of restack ammo, and as he said the low pen on high rpm guns doesnt matter to much, you hit the not plated areas quite a lot. oh and P90 i cant aim with XD i dont know why but i cant hit any shots with it.

For average joe lvl4 is very very far away. Esp. for standart accounts. Besides... why wait, when you can get it now. Best examples in prev. wipes for me were m955 and flechete.

I mean somebody had to create these obviously, but my guess is those are chads probably? Or its normal to sell everything and build something new for that cash? Its truly mystery to me
