That originally looked a bit like the 'things I found in raid' build and I love it for that, alone. Not only that buffer tube but no pad on the stock. I.. Why?? The things I've dropped to bring the various "I can't buy this!" mods out doesn't bare thinking about - day 1 Salewas? who needs them? I found a Zhukov stock and it's coming home with me..

This alone is the sole reason I don’t spend as much money on gun attachments, 90% of what I use is stuff I find in raid. The only things I usually buy are maybe specific handguards, rails for them and laser light combos

I tend to go for a 'value engineering' or 'bang-for-your-buck' approach in my builds, which is why the X400 remains my go-to. It's a flashlight and a laser, it's perfectly functional, and relatively inexpensive. I tend not to use BIS anything unless it also happens to be inexpensive, or if it's very late in the wipe and I've just got tons of money to burn. I also recognize I'm not the best gamer in the world, and using my Banger builds it's super easy to just brush off a loss, re-gear and go again. Plus, there's NOTHING more satisfying than taking down a PMC who's using a buttstock that costs nearly as much as your whole build.

Everytime nikita said they are gonna rework recoil what they really meant was that they were gonna make 7.62 AKs unsuable. like i don't mind the actual vertical recoil but the gradual horinzontal spread increase is just too horrendous to use them as of now.

What I also don't understand is why every 'meta' build uses the MOE FG (Foilage Green) instead of the MOE OD (Olive Drab). They already went for the ugly bright green to safe some money but there's a Dollar cheaper green version which is less of a thumb in your eye.

IIRC it used to be the most available back in the day where the other colors were more expensive and had less in stock. No idea if this is true though.

I actually like to use the weird colors lol, sometimes I will run all black, but I like the wonky look of a green or brown stock on a black gun, it's not like the stock is going to affect camo, and I don't even play hidden most of the time.

Never realized the ak buffer tube was that much of a negative! That said, if i still find myself with all magpul parts sitting in my stash, definitely gotta slap on the CTR for the drip aspect. It's like running all plum parts on the AK-74: sometimes a man just wants to look good

The all plum 74n with a Vortex Razor on top for a little extra plum and a Waffle/JMac is surprisingly nice to run.

He's using a hybrid suppressor, that's either for cheap or Ergo. Which is what I'd do anyway with the tube and FAB CORE stock. Its more important these days than recoil since the nerfs. As for not using the .308 adapter, I'll say not all of us got a traders maxed. Especially Mech, fucker asks for way too much money to sell to. I see why to replace the tube, but I'd rather try and get one of the tube adapters that let me use my own tube, try and get the Strike tube, and then get that FAB stock on it. Max the ergo, rip em to shreads Edit: Okay, lower recoil yet kicks to the sky quicker. Tarkov just making sense huh

thats why you have different platforms. AR tubes are not designed for AKs, and so it makes sense why ak stocks designed from the ground up works better.

The PT AKM is also a good option. I think it's skier 2, with the PT-1 and the buttpad, you get 54 ergo and 81 recoil.

Gonna argue with you here. ME4 adapter, anodized ARE tube, DD ECB with the 20mm buttpad. Drops your ergo five points but your vertical recoil goes down to 80 and horizontal to 199

Hey Giga, Love your work mate. A suggestion, I noticed that these type of vids mostly mention "if you do not have max traders" I would find it interesting to watch some vids that are more "if you have max traders and money isnt an option" or "what are the go to builds/attachments for late wipe" I find that getting rubles and rep in this game is pretty easy. i fiddle a lot with my weapons too, currently this wipe i can see that ergo is the primary focus for this raid, recoil is honestly fine to deal with. anyway, keep up the good work bro.

It would be neat if there was a way to give loot back to the original owners. One could either be super nice like Gigabeef and upgrade the gun, or just strip valuable parts off and return the rest so the lootee doesn't have to spend too much money rebuilding his loadout

I never understood why AK systems need a buffer tube. The bolt carrier group doesn’t even contact the buffer spring. It’s blocked by lower receiver… I don’t get it. It’s irl of course

honesty i dont think the "rebuild" is any good. My reason y is because ur still going to be spending hella money on that build which is very subpar for the price and has almost exactly the same vert recoil with minimal changes with the horizontal recoil compared to the original. So if anyone here is thinking about using that build. Just use an sks with the scope mount on it with a 20rd or 35rd mag and just tweak the gun a little bit to your liking because it will just be way more reliable and cost efficient.

The original and rebuild recoil looked the same to me… if anything the rebuild had a quicker muzzle climb with the same total magnitude.
