I think the plastic on the bottom is necessary to accommodate for wifi 6 and the 6GHz frequency band that the laptop supports.

I would like to see the comparison between oled and mini led options, as well as between different Gpu configurations. I wonder if there is any sense in going for the upper tier gpu, if they are all limited to 105w.

The Lenovo Legion 5i Pro with the 16 inch IPS screen is much better than the Razer blade. Those Razer days are over.

Is the display matte, semi-matte or glare? What is the reflectance of window sunlight, lamps and outdoors around noon depending on sun and clouds? I would buy IPS / miniLED but am curious if you notice the OLED flickering (pulse width modulation). What is the maximum noise under GPU load? How about such a noise sample and another for idle? Please demonstrate and describe how pressing the keys and touchpad clicks feel like. Is the touchpad so large that one generates accisental clicks? RAM latency? Which SSD model? Are opening, maintenance and module installation possible without breaking any warranty seal? Thank you for your good work!

Funny, just thinking about switching to a creator laptop and discovered the aero 16 as an option - how nice you just did a video about it. But i'll guess i'll rather have one with a bit less power. i5 or i7 should be fine as well as a 3060

Good laptop but the glossy screen gives me headaches. I can accomplish way more with a matte IPS screen like the Legion 5i Pro. So its a pass. The Aero also has poor thermals and power delivery. Good video though.

@1:39 "the laptop has quite a bit of ports..." what the hell are you talking about. They killed all USB-A, Ethernet, HDMI and cardreader from the previous model. You basically need an adaptor for anything other than USB-C devices. On top of that, the majority of ports is in the worst possible place if using a mouse.

Does anyone know when plugged to an external display, the signal is coming from Nvidia graphics card or from the integrated Iris Xe? I heard some people claiming that none of the three ports on Aero 16 is wired to the dGPU directly.

I noticed that the HDMI adapter only output 4K@30Hz to an external monitor. I couldn't figure out how to output video at 4K@60. Could it be the that the dongle only supports 4K@30Hz?

well i gues that usb c performance is being split to all ports inside dongle. for me this year model is true let down, downgrade at its finest

To be fair if you're a creator (or anyone who actually really cares about sound regardless of what you actually do with your laptop) you've probably got IEMs or headphones with you anyway to edit, play, or just listen with. If anything the only time it might be a problem is when you have to show somebody a video, and creators might be more likely to have to do this professionally than anybody else (sans prosecutors/defence lawyers who might have to whip out CCTV footage or something when they're just in the interrogation room for example).
