But the curve optimizer works, correct? I'm asking as I want to buy a bundle that has this board for general computer usage, not mining. The board would cost 80$ in that bundle. And I need curve optimizer. And you are correct, B650 should have full voltage control, that's the whole point of B650 spec over A620. If it doesn't it should be reported, AMD shouldn't allow mobo vendors calling this B650. On a side note, I'm not sure how much memory affects mining, but tuning memory gains a lot of performance in many applications. I can run 5600Mhz CL38 with 65000trefi and other timings tightened on my low-power desktop with 1.05 VDD and 0.95 VDDQ. Tuning the memory from 4800jedec to 5600 manual gains more than 25% bandwidth and drops latency. But manual memory tuning is very time consuming and requires testing. And there are other things you can downvolt apart from the CPU, like PCH (chipset, I run that at 1.02V instead of 1.1V), negative curve on iGP works etc. But you probably know a lot of that stuff already, xd.

7900x less than 7900 at 180H/w

@@maedonald4663 So for efficient 180H/w, both 7900 and 7900x have worked for me. The 7900 is usually a lil more expensive, but does come with an Amd cooler. The 7900x needs its own cooler. When turned up on frequency and voltage the 7900 is slightly more efficient. That has been my experience 🙂👍👍 Hope that helps🥂
