When i started watching your videos i was in bronze, had little time to play(every other weekend maybe), and wasn't doing that well in my games. I'm still in bronze, have even less time to play, but i've been playing way more confidently when i do play. I've getting match/team mvp very often, using my util better, positioning, peeking and aiming better. Might be arrogance speaking but Gold is only some time investment away in my opinion, although i definitely have a lot to improve on. Maybe one day i could even get to the point where i submit a vod?
@ColeBodine-w8y Жыл бұрын
This comment is almost a month old but if you’re using your util and practicing not only your aiming but your positioning and movement, you’re already doing better than most gold players, let alone Bronze and Silver. Would not be surprised if you have hit a double rank up or gotten near gold by now.

Then you have the people that want to be able to teach themselves and try to improve, usually are good at knowing their mistakes the moment they happen, and get annoyed when they get told to do what they already know or tend to be aware of and start doing worse after the fact. They’re used to criticizing themselves but not from others. It’s kinda like when you know gotta do something, and you’re gonna do it, then you get told to do that exact thing and then you don’t wanna do it.

I'm afraid I'm not a banana but after doing woohoojin's shooting range practice with dead zonining and bursts on the daily for a while, and then forcing myself to do it in deathmatches, it came to me naturally in regular games. If you haven't practiced it, there's a good chance you'll fail, and then your brain will remember the couple of times you did try to strafe in a comp match and it got you killed. Then you'll become risk averse and never want to do it. Practice it and build confidence that it's a tool you can rely on

I was like this guy when I switched to valorant from csgo. I'm confident with my aim, more like an ego thing I think? You could also see that he has the first battle pass by looking at his classic and knife skin, an early adopter, and then switched back to csgo or whatever fps/shooter game he plays after few acts in valorant. That's why the elo doesn't match his rank. He has the fps aim but not the game mechanics.
