This is a 1 year update regarding my experience with the 2022 Samsung QN900B 85 INCH NEO QLED TV, as well as the Q990C Sound bar system.

QN900D has 2 times better prossecor than QN900C. I don't know if there will be 8K TVs soon with 120 Fps. I think 8K will be a big thing when gta 6 is coming in 2025

Yeah i heard. There is a likelihood I pickup the QN900D 85 inch this year. 8K 120 will probably be out within the next year or 2.

This year with the QN900D and a very likely Sony Z9M 8K TV, I would say it's the first year an 8K tv will be worth buying provided you're willing to use a PC with a 5090 in it. You will still be an early adopter until 8k 120hz is a thing though

I think you’re spot on. I gave the QN900B a hard look last year when tv shopping and ended up going with the QN90B since I was getting it in the 65” size and it’s been a great tv. I’ve kept it on 1304 firmware and haven’t run into any issues with it. Two months later I ended up purchasing the 77” G2 and it has also been a great set with no complaints with either one but now I find myself wanting an 85” set and I’m giving a hard look at the QN900C or possibly the QN900D since CES is in two weeks. Gaming is my top priority with movies/shows a close second and I can get the 85” Sony X95L for about a third cheaper than the QN900C so I have some research to do yet but so far so good on the QN90B.

@@Qwan208 yes and no depending. Nothing will beat the contrast of an OLED but the Neo QLED line has incredible with minimal blooming and excellent contrast of its own and if you are looking for a 85” or higher I’d definitely go Mini LED myself but you can’t go wrong with either one.

I have a LgC2 And Samsung s95c the only thing with s95c is that the tv is very glitchy at time. With the screen and the s95D coming out soon but I will pass on it even know I love the QD technology but I think I will go with the LG G4 this year instead

Awesome review as i am enjoying this tv. I know this sounds crazy but i own 3 Samsung 85 inch qn900b in my house and they are all connected to my RTX 4090 PC. This is simply the best gaming tv. Question: All my tvs are off line. 2 of the qn900b are day one firmware 1084 and will not touch cause due to be unbelievably bright. My 3rd tv i got used and has firmware 1520 which shows blooming...if i update to 1602 will blooming be much better and will gaming still look and work great?

Thanks for the support and tuning in. Glad you are enjoying your QN900B's! 💪 I am really enjoying Firmware 1602. I believe I said 1620 in this video, but it is 1602, and for me it really brings the image closer to the realm of Sony. More contrast in the image, colors are reigned in more for accuracy. So overall 1602 is a GO. I was so excited when I noticed the image update with the new firmware that I went online to the forums and sure enough others were also excited by the update.👌

I also have the 85" qn900b. Thought about going to an 83" oled but i know the hit in brigtness will piss me off. Hopedulky puts out for an mla 83" this year.

Awesome! How are you liking it? Yeah, the brightness is just awesome on the qn900b 85 inch. MLA in 83 inch would be superb or an 8k 83 inch qd oled would also be amazing.

@ther0kaphella I love the qn900b with thr exception of the occasionally blooming. Yes I agree, 83" 8k oled would be amazing. We know lg has the 88" 8k panels , if only they'd drop the price from 24k to a more reasonable 10-11k

The One connect box came with my TV (and it comes with other tvs from Samsung). If you need a replacement, reach out to Samsung, or try Amazon or ebay.
