Sven is a great buddy for Knossos. He makes him hit harder, last longer, get out easier. Also, the upgrade that makes his charge launch everyone nearby is a good one for interrupting.

I recommend upgrading his spear throw into the single one instead of the spear rain since a fully charged single spear can do upwards of 400 dmg great for finishing of and softening them up before going in , also great gameplay ! I love watching your gigantic videos they are always very entertaining

Honestly I feel the same way with Lord Knossus I always feel like I do tons of damage but can't finish anyone off since I have to get out or i'll die. I wish he was slightly more tanky. If you can get some sort of support to buff armor Lord Knossus becomes 10 times better. But I remember this one time where the enemy Knossus was insane. I think they got at least a couple triples and a penta kill and I have no clue how. We had a pretty well put together team but Knossus just picked us off one by one. I guess their team comp was perfect for Knossus or they had some crazy build but it was terrifying. One thing I would recommend trying is the bleed build on the spear throw it's a lot of fun just chucking spears at people and making them bleed. Great for witling down tanky hearos or finishing off people. Plus on top of the Wind Up talent that damage starts to add up! Awesome video and keep up the great work! I'm like super hyped up now and want to play some Gigantic now lol.

I agree, but I feel like his balancing is on a knife's edge. He definitely needs just a little something, but even a small buff could take him a bit over the top because he's so good under certain conditions. He feels amazing when you have a ballsy support sticking close by. Vadasi can keep you topped off and does good damage while being safely behind you. Aisling and Zandora can deathball with you... And Sven has a bit of everything. He's such a good counter to assassins as well. Knossos has good CC and is sticky, so he can peel pretty well and stay on the enemy right after they use their cooldowns to engage. Since he can 1v1 most assassins decently, being a bodyguard for your squishy/cowardly teammates can be a successful strategy. From my experience, assassins tilt hard and fast too... so this is probably even more successful in practice than it is on paper. Brave said it well midway through the video. I think the trick is good stamina and cooldown management. You are rewarded for having restraint, but also going balls deep when the opportunity is right. If you land your bleed or get your auto attack buff up on a priority target BEFORE using your Gore, Bull rush, or blowing most your stamina... you will kill. This starts the fight in your favor while having both of your engage/disengage skills up. Either use your skills to nab a cheeky kill and get out OR to fully commit to a fight with a numbers advantage (which is where he excels). It's weird playing a "tank" that requires such precise positioning, but I guess that's his skill check since his moves are so straight forward. I love the beefy boy and his bruiser playstyle, so just some food for thought!

@@AFunGhoul I remember getting stomped by a Aisling and Knossos combo it was rough. But throwing a Zandora in there too man I don’t even want to think about it it’s giving chills. I think I saw this combo actually in one of the community tournaments on WolfieCasts channel and it was insane! But yeah I definitely need to keep in mind about cooldown and and stamina that’s something I struggle with a lot! Also didn’t know you could gore into a combo which is cool I’ll also keep that in mind. Any recommendations for a fun Knossos build?

​@@andrewche9591 I have two that I like, with one being much more of a "general use" case, and the other for when you are looking to steamroll with a CC/support heavy team that is looking to barrel stuff the enemy. Hope you can get some use out of them! General use is: Assault to Injury, either Torus option (CD reduction vs a lot of melee, immobilize vs jumpy teams), More Gore, Thick Skinned, Lifeline, Trample. This is much more flexible and lets you frontload your damage with Assault to injury. Getting that bleed off is huge as its the best bleed in the game. Any time you extend the fight on the bleeding target by Gore, Torus CC, or Bull rush speed boost, you are reapplying that bleed. You want to land bleed, Torus once they start to run (they will), hold gore until you know you can finish them off or after they use their escape skill, then use thick skinned health and speed buffs to get out. This one is never a bad build choice as it has a clear engage button (More Gore) and disengage button (Thick Skinned), and is the one I'd recommend to start with until you are comfortable with the cow. Pentakiller is: Seeing Red, either Torus, More Gore, Mighty Yawp, Remorseless, Trample/Fury. Same rules apply, but you do not stop swinging. As you swing, as you kill, you keep hitting harder. Pop your Mighty Yawp once you know you are going to fully commit to the fight instead of using it as a defensive CD. They way crit works in this game (slowly builds crit chance as you land consecutive attacks), you're fully buffed fourth hit chunks people hard. Try to get a few picks (3 max) to stack dominator before you go nuts, as that is a free 15% damage bonus until death. This is one of the most satisfying ways to fully wipe a team, imo. High risk, high reward, especially considering you will decide to build this early on in the match. Other comments: Always try to land your 4-hit combo / build into your basic attack ability early. Your attack chain has a multiplier on that last hit, making it do much more damage than the other 3. Jump attacks are really useful on Knossos once you can manage stamina. A jump attack on the back of a target cripples them, which give you some additional soft CC for a 4-ht combo, letting hold onto some CDs in exchange for stamina. Build into Gore early, especially if you plan on going Trample. Trample is just too good, especially the CD reduction during clash. More CC or movement when you inevitably run out of stamina. You can swap to Fury when using Mighty Yawp, but even then I miss having more charges. Heavy barrel is really fun, but you forgo more guaranteed damage from you basic attacks, as you can land another 4-hit combo on a immobilized enemy. You leave a lot of damage on the table and it ruins your momentum when you are trying to run them all down to stack all your ridiculous buffs. Bulldoze also just kind of feels bad even thought it looks good on paper, Going More Gore stops tanks from trying to body block the stun for your main target, and nearly guarantees a 4-hit combo. Feel free to play around with the other Chuck and Gore options since they are fun, but I almost always miss the utility that the superior options bring. Go toss some spears!
