The first song is "Through The Fire" by Chakha Khan back in the 1980s; The second song is "Piano In The Dark" sang by Brenda Russell. She's Filipina and just finished a gig in San Francisco and was opening a concert in Toronto when she had to cut short her contract to go back to the Philippies because her mom died. There's a lot of Filipino like her who sing just as good.

Yes, Gigi is a unique singer. Her breath control, tone, pitch is outrageous. She is also an actress which makes sense since she is an amazing communicator in all her songs, she plays the role adopting all these covers as her own. Chinchilla 1:5 live is vocal fireworks and emotion. ❤ she writes, produces her music, and designs her hats and outfits an absolute creative genius. Gives off a persona to make herself comfortable performing on stage. She seems sweet as a person but alot of her songs are empowering( with a few unacceptable words for younger viewers ) but they are used for emphasis not just to throw them in with no context or just to say them because as I noted she seems sweet and totally opposite in her interviews. It's just a part of her artistry. Just wanted to note since you have younger viewer in you presence. Your daughter seems very intelligent and sweet so glad you are eposing her to different generations of songs and artists.

Hi! Nice Reaction. Thank you very much. She was tagged as "The Queen of all Genres". They did this recording in a garage during the pandemic. They didn't expect that it would rake million views and still counting, since then they begin making live videos. By the way "Through the Fire" was originally done by Chaka Khan, a hit in the 80's. "Piano in the Dark" was Brenda Russell's song, also in 80s. She was looking at an I pad to check on the lyrics. Here are some of my suggestions for you to enjoy! 1. Yesterday when I was young 2. I'm a Filipino too, but i don't believe that all, or the majority of Filipinos are good singers and belters, only some are gifted, and Gigi is one of them she was also blessed for being very pretty, and i was very hesitate to tell this but to be honest I'm good on singing too, but lacks those confidence like this professional singers..

If you like Hard Rock there's a girl band who happen to be 3 sisters from Monterrey Mexico called The Warning. At the ages of 9, 12 &14 they did a cover of Metallica's "Enter Sandman" which they recorded to sent to their grandparents. Unfortunately or may fortunately the file was too big to send; so their father uploaded the video to KZbin. The family went on vacation and when they returned the father's email exploded - the video had gone viral garnering millions of view; Metallica saw the video and was very impressed!
