Yes, I’ve noticed the haters popping up more often now that Gigi is becoming more popular. I also notice that they always compare Gigi to their favorite singer. You’re right about them...they’re so focused on one singer or one style of singing…It’s like they have tunnel vision and can’t accept that there’s someone new getting more attention or someone new who doesn’t conform to the way all others sing or belt. Sadly, a lot of those haters are Filipinos. Me being a Filipino-American, I don’t understand that mindset of bashing your own homegrown talents. It’s shameful, in my opinion. 😢
