Sorry, not to downplay anyone here but I've been organizing live bands events before. For live bands they need to at least know 50 songs specifically for the requests portion. Most of the time they will play a part of the requested songs that they know but didn't practice that day just to grant the requests unless they get a huge tip they will try the whole song but if the song you requested was practiced for that night live then they will definitely play the whole song. Gigi vibes is no exception to this set up. Like if you watch their live, there are parts they do just a stanza or chorus then skip it to the next request. Then sing the song they practiced for that night. You can tell which one they practiced and which songs they didn't but had to do the whole song because the requester "paid" you to do so.

Yes she is a bit tall, shes 5'5", so she's somwhat taller compared to most female Filipinos. She actually sings a lot of Michael Jackson. Chk out her duet with Daryl Ong, I Just Can't Stop Loving You which is a MJ song. Most of their videos are part of 2-3 hour livestreams they used to do a couple of yrs ago. They take song requests from their viewers l, most of them are impromptu. This video u just reacted to, they shot this in a small garage. They were all broke during the pandemic bc everything was closed, so no gigs. Thats when they decided to do livestreams on KZbin & FB. They are more popular now so they now haveva real studio. One of the reasons why i like Gigi is not just her talent, but her personality. She & the band members are crazy funny especially during the livestreams. They speak in Tagalog tho so not sure if youll understand their jokes. Shes very real, she farts, burps, eats with her hands, waxes her armpits in front of the camera, she does all sorts of crazy stuff. She's just adorable!

You asked about her mom. From what I heard, they stopped her medical treatment bc she's not getting better & has stage 4 cancer. She's been sick & was in treatment for many years. It's kinda sad. She is the only daughter & was raised by her single mom. That's why her band is her family, they've been together for about 10 yrs. The only new member is Oyus, the guitarist. Just pointing out that it was a big fiasco over several yrs ago in the Philippine media when she transitioned out of acting into music&a lot of filipino noticed a big difference. It's not much of a taboo for filipino to get plastic surgery, it's just uncommon and the filipino public&her existing fans noticed but her initial silence made it look bad. It's not an issue to her now and her fans accepted it a long time ago.
