2009-2013 Mazda 6. Due to problems caused by other users that are claiming to be the owners of the songs that I create, I decided to not use music on my videos from now on. Please enjoy the technical part of my videos!

Can you take a photo or video of the installed drl/fog light you installed from the driver pov! I want to see the spread or the throw of light. I liked you idea, i'm planning to do the same on Civic. I really want to know how bright they are before i drill these onto the front fog grille!

Check one of my other videos " LED headlights conversion", at minute 8:00. Before the low beam, the eagle eyes turn on first.

Hey could you explain to me the part where you connect it to the original fog light wire and how do you connect the passenger side too please?
@gigi19mai17 жыл бұрын
In this case, because there were no pre-existing halogens lights, the only connection is to the side lights. What you see me doing is just basically reattaching the factory halogen wires to the dummy plug. That how most of the cars comes from factory prewired for everything, just the final product is missing depending on the car options (speakers, stereos, switches, actuators, halogens).

So is that a turn signal ? So it blinks at the same time ? ?

I have a 08 mazda 6 been looking to add fogs as a diy but i took out the bumber and it only has a connecter on the left not right do i have to wire the one on the right to left one.
@gigi19mai15 жыл бұрын
If you are using the factory connector then you also need to replace the combination switch that turns the light on. In my case I tapped into existing side lights wiring.

Emil Carlover i have no problem getting the combination switch its the right side harness i am missing
@gigi19mai15 жыл бұрын
@@Bk1_sk mine was the same. The factory fog lights might have a wire running in between the fixtures. So yes, you need to run a wire from left to right.

What kind of leds are these? I would like to put on my car the same leds but don't know which ones yo choose. What shall I pay attention to when shopping for this kind of leds and what's the most common place to order them (sites)?
@gigi19mai18 жыл бұрын
+alexandru calancea I buy mines from ebay for $1 each. They are called eagle eye led latest version (smaller size). On my car I have them for over 3 years. Very easy to change if one fails, just cut the wire and replace the led.
@alexcelbun8 жыл бұрын
Thank you. How many went bad during the 3 years?
@gigi19mai18 жыл бұрын
got them installed on 2 cars, 10 leds each car (20 in total), 2 leds replaced so far! Not bad at all for the price!

Hi! To install any led bulbs to the exisiting high beam wiring won't work. I've tested the wires and the voltage that comes out throught the high beam wires during the daylight is under 1V, and the eagle eye led which is a 12v can only operate down to 7v. Hopping to do it this way because I have the auto lights switch and didn't want a separate circuit, but won't work. So, for the DRL you will need to run a separate circuit powered by battery and with a separate switch.

Emil Carlover couldn’t he have just ran the hot wires to the hood fuse box but use a inline fuse so when you turn on your car they will get 12 volts and just find a good ground??
@FatherOfAllGuys8 жыл бұрын
Are they actually functional or just for looks. They seemed too weak to me.
@gigi19mai18 жыл бұрын
+Abu Ashshabab they do an excellent job! They illuminate up to 5 m and sides too, completing the weaknesses of the low beam (right in front of the car)

@@gigi19mai1 okay. Last question. I am trying to wrap the led light wiring around the fog light wiring. When I have 3 of the led lights on the wire the fog light and the led lights come on. But when I wrapped all 5 around the fog light wire then only the led lights came on instead of the fog lights. They were all taped and secured very well. Do you know why the fog light may not be working ? Also in this process some pieces of copper did come off the fog light wire but doesnt make sense if the led lights work

I still have them on my sister's car (the red Mazda from the video). Few burned out, but I purchased multiple for replacement throughout the years
