As a Gujrati who has only doctors, engineers and MBAs in the family and No business I can say that it depends on your end goal and how you have been brought up, Education is very very important even if you end up doing business. Money is important too but it should not be the only focus. Right balance along with a mindset of helping others when you have more than you need should lead to happy worthy life. Being a Bengali i can say that im bengal the 60s-70s parents have taught only one thing to their kids - get good marks in school and get a government job. For this reason you will see that even for a small post with 200-300 vacancy, aspirants in lakhs are applying for that job because they jave no other skill set. And many useless BA, MA degree guys are doing job as a private school teacher with a salary of 10000-15000. And for that salary they are even going ro faraway states. Bengal youths are doomed completely, no skills whatsoever and will lead a pathetic life. They can only think of teacher, professor and doctor jobs. And with time the teaching job has lost its glamour and respect as well. Thats why you will see unemployment in states like bihar , west bengal has shot through the roof as here the parents of the kids taught them from childhood that sarkari naukri is the greatest and that go on reading and get the degrees and one day you will get a job as knowledge is supreme. But times have changed, only theory knowledge is useless.

He was brought up in Raipur in Chhattisgarh. He moved to Mumbai to study to become a chartered accountant. His ancestors belong to Rajasthan (Source: Wikipedia). From Rajesthan not Gujarat!

I am from south telugu community we have big problem in caste system. My family focus only in good paying job. My community don't support me. I was born poor and I will die poor and If I dont have good job then my parents will not be getting appericated or respected. And we are always ruled by big Other castes like Reddy and chowdary. If this world to be started destorying it should be stating in telugu states.

for a south Indian state, Telugu dominated andhra pradesh has a HUGE caste problem. Infact caste politics in AP is probably the 2nd highest in India after BIhar. AP also lags far behing its other south Indian brethren. Infact among my friend circle, people call AP the "UP of South India" due to how underdevloped it is. Many north indian states like Haryana, Delhi, Punjab, Himachal and Uttarakhand are far more developed than AP. Most people i know wont even be able to tell name of a single city of AP. There was only 1 city previously and that was Hyderabad but it was taken away by Telangana. But everyone will be able to name atleast 2 cities of other south indian states
