Very helpful video! Excited to visit both in July. Thank you for the bike lane info, too. Would love to find “most bike friendly cities” in Spain guide 😂

Thank you for liking our video. We are glad it was helpful! We feel that Gijon is better for bikers. However, Oviedo has its own charm!

HI Fahad, any village with wifi and close to a decent hospital and market?
@FahoodyAdventuresАй бұрын
Oviedo has the biggest hospital in Asturias, and also you can find WiFi everywhere around here. Same with Gijón, it has good medical centres and no problem with WiFi. Markets are all around in both cities so no problem with that neither :)

Gijon has better surrounding areas, has like 10 beaches within it´s city limits, and small charming seaside towns nearby. Oviedo is very nice really, but people tend to be more uptight and old fashioned. Gijon is a seaside city with one of the largest ports in Spain, people are more open mindend and diverse. It´s a shame you didn´t mention Aviles, it´s a smaller city, but has a surprising life in it, and a beautiful old quarter as well. We were surprised the last time we went to Asturias by Aviles. Regarding food, there is not a bad city or town in Asturias where food is not spectacular, plenty, and relatively cheap

Yes you are totally right! We also love Avilés, we will make a video soon. Thanks for your comment!!

What are some good neighborhoods in Oviedo?
@FahoodyAdventuresАй бұрын
Hello! The city center is very lovely but also you can check other neighborhoods like La Florida, El cristo, Naranco or el Pumarin. All of them are very nice and close to the city centre :)

For those who do not know, it is important to note that the two cities are only 26 km apart. You can enjoy both regardless of which one you choose to live in, but Gijón is better xD.
