I was iffy on him, but I preordered him and forgot about him. Then last Monday, he shipped and I was like “Oh crap! I forgot!!” He’s set to arrive today on Saturday (FedEx took the slow mule approach to ship) and I am stoked to get him. He looks a lot better than I expected. I will add some color to that bandolier, holster and sheath, though.

Got him today and I really like him. His neck seems to not look up as much as I’d like, so I’ll have to modify him. Also, the original Starduster wasn’t a recolored Duke, he was a complete mish mash of parts. His arms were Flint’s, he had Duke of Recondo’s torso, Recondo or Iceberg’s waist and Roadblock’s legs. His head was a redid v1 Hawk/Steeler/Flash/Short Fuse.

I remember this figure back in the 80s and i didn’t know was or know his history with the Joe team. The clear tinted visor with helmet can give hope to Steeler, Thunder and Flash laser trooper. Great review my friend!!

Great review. Got him a few days ago. I like him. I don’t think they gave enough accessories to justify the deluxe price is probably my only gripe.

Mines just came in this week. I love it. I never owned a Starduster in the 80s. I had to tape the cereal box. I put him by my other Steel Corps figures.

Great figure, Great review!!! My Starduster is "On the Way" and scheduled for Monday, 21 Oct 24!!! Hoping all goes smoothly for my Package!!! Great Headsculpt, Good variety of accessories..."Deluxe" is questionable, but, not too outlandish!!! Yo Joe!!!

Great review I got mine on 10/16/24 and have really enjoyed this one. Didn’t have this one before but it’s a cool figure but I can see why people would pass on it.

I was on the fence and on the fence usually means I buy it and see if I like it in hand lol. Last I checked he was still on the way.

My gripe about this guy is the same as my gripe about Duke: put them in some type of field fatigues rather than making them look like a desk clerk. It’s just silly. It does look very faithful to the original though. Something like a blue camo version of the steel corps troopers would appeal to me though (camo from head to toe, I mean, and not a semi-dress shirt).

have you noticed any stress marks on the peg for the backpack? or on his helmet (with visor) on the sides like by his ears? just unboxed mine and the peg hole on the back seems tad tighter for the backpack peg and I can see white stress lines already. The same with the helmet, first time putting it on I could see a white line form near the sides. Kinda worried the backpack peg will break off. Thanks.

I taped the cereal box. The red rocket cracked me up. It’s probably going to be a buy and they ship out Nemesis Immortal around 10/27. I like the Starduster fig. I had to modify my neck so he can look up. I like the extra hands. New color option for fists and pointing finger in grey.

I plan on doing that, also. The lower ball peg makes the neck lean forward a bit.

I actually passed on him for a good moment but looking at him next to retro Duke I think it is the same head sculpt but modified some to look different. But yeah I might eventually come back around 👍

I picked him up, but Pulse used DHL to ship him for some reason. That means it'll take a little over two weeks to get to me. Right now, the expected delivery is Oct. 28th, which is ridiculous. Fedex would have had it to me in two days.

That is ridiculously annoying. I don't get how DHL stays in business. My last hasbro order came that way and it took forever also

Thought the cereal box was going to be more of a real accessory not a cardboard punch out on the box that looks like crap unless you glue it all together, kind of cheap and it would of been cool if he came with a slip case that looked like the cereal box …or something all the other con figures have had special packaging and art work except for him ….just feel like they could of done something a little more especially since he’s a $25 figure there charging $35 for he just doesn’t feel like a con exclusive

I think the figure is great and he's a perfect exclusive, but talk about underwhelming packaging. So far, the exclusive boxes are the only ones I keep, but there's zero reason to hold on to this one. I thought for sure that because he was an exclusive, his packaging would be designed after the actual Actions Stars cereal box. That seems like a big miss.

@charlockprime that would have been an awesome design choice if they mad it like a cereal box. But agreed, kinda lame, especially with all the awesome convention boxes we've gotten in the past
