Would you mind ~ing?는 Would you mind if ~?로 바꿀 수 있긴 한데 이 경우에는 '제가 길을 알아내도 괜찮을까요?'처럼 들려서 무슨 뜻인지는 알지만 살짝 모호하게 들려요! 그래서 첫번째 문장으로 giving me directions라고 하는게 좋아요!^^
