He was an amazing person and he had/has an amazing wife. The injustice of what happened is a heavy burden to me. The lives lost. The families who have been disrupted and left in mourning. The ongoing horror of the hostage situation. I sometimes wonder… how long can God watch all this sadness and allow it to continue? I’m so glad you have the photos and videos of Daniel. (My son's name is Daniel too, and I grew up in Bolivia.) They will help your children see how their dad was as a person and how he loved them. Dr. Daniel died as a hero, saving whoever he could at the dental clinic in Kibbutz Be'eri He was under heavy fire from Hamas Terrorists, against unarmed civilians in the clinic. It's heartbreaking to hear his wife Lihi, about their wonderful relationship and great love towards his children, Israel and all humans in general. A great loss. Blessings to his family and children.

My soul has been hurting for a year, even though I had met a boy on a past visit who died at Nova it all seemed so unreal. This story has moved me beyond sadness into heartbreak. The reminder of trying to catch that last smell on his clothing ( also when my husband passed). A true hero of Israel and so many other beautiful people lost too. Unbearable to lose such love too soon. My sincere condolences to this family 🙏
