I don't know why people don't put more emphasis on the fact that winning the MVP was easier to do in the East, because of the level of competition or lack there of in that conference. Lebron playing in the East with subpar competition compared to the West's Duncans, Garnetts, the Dirks and the Kobes and the Nashs, and it wasn't just that but it was harder to show up the teams in the West than it was playing against Eastern teams. Lebron was playing 52 games in the East with while only playing like 12 games against good teams in the East and 30 games against Western Conference teams with half of those being against playoff caliber teams. So to sum it up Lebron wins MVP while accumulating all his stats in a schedule which 50+ games are against subpar teams while the West is tearing eachothers heads off and competing in 60+ games against playoff caliber teams.
