Burns is one of the smaller welterweights, his wrestling is not good enough for Chimaev, offensively and defensively. Usman has size, he strikes from the outside and his wrestling is top notch. With that said Burns is by all means a very dangerous opponent for Khamzat, but not the hardest matchup most definitely.

It’s the degree at which he’s dominated those fights that suggests he’s the real deal. Those were all trained fighters and he made each of them look like children. Joe Rogan is quite experienced in MMA as a commentator and he’s a skilled fighter as well, and he sees it. Burns might get some shots on Khamzat, and it might even go past round 1, but Khamzat will likely win the fight. Burns is a great match up for him though. Khamzat is still four inches taller with a 5 inch reach advantage. He’s strong as hell. Burns will not have an easy time and he knows it. Maybe after this fight you’ll finally see how good Khamzat really is. I’m certain the guy will become the champ.

Gilbert is a legend..one of my favourite fighters inside and outside the octagon. Class act yet I can't see him winning as he struggled to get chunderboy onto the mat. The size and wrestling is the difference here..Gilbert being a big lightweight and khamzat being a comfortable middleweight. I see him getting gassed toward the end of the 2nd

If he's not going into this fight 100% confident then he's lost half the battle already. Of course any fighter can win on any given day so I'm not ruling this guy out.
