Thank you for your demo. I've learned so much about gilding. I liked that you showed us many variations of gilding, considering all of the different glues or adhesives you can use.

Gail, I absolutely love that you are open to playing with other products and experimenting! I watch ScrapbookingMadeSimple/ Stacey (live on KZbin) every Saturday Morning at 8AM PT, so Noon Your time. She has no boundaries on what you can do with different products. Her creativity is limitless!! I think you'd enjoy Her. She has a FB page also. She makes Crafting affordable too. I recently bought a Set of the Gilding Flakes in many colors and I can't wait to play with it!! She warned Us that the jars explode when you first open them and to have containers ready for it. Like you've learned!! LOL!!! I'm dabbling in all kinds of products and having a lot of Fun. Back to your Card's. I thought They were really beautiful. I actually loved the 1st sample One that you used the Multi color Gilding Flakes for the Sentiment. And the Other with the BlackBerry Bliss cardstock (I'm guessing) for the background in the oval shape was gorgeous!! I can't wait to play with this stuff but I think I'll try it in a box or something to TRY to keep the mess from getting to crazy!! LOL !! Great tips for using this and as always Gail, I really enjoy watching you create. 😍 One tip. I have a Set from Ranger of Embossing Pens that allow you to touch up a spot like the leaf that didn't get enough Versamark. Many great uses for Them. Do you know of any way to get a Stamp made with My name on it for the back of My Card's?? I'm sure Someone makes them. I'd love to find One. I'm going to email you, so look in your Spam just in case!

Great idea sticky paper with dies then using the flakes...I used the nuvo glue pen and it worked great.......Love the little tool to smooth out the flakes..... it’s messy but it’s fun...🤣😂

If I'm not mistaken stampin Up used to sell these. I know I've got some better now and storage but I've played with them before. Messy but tons of fun. I took about a six-year break from being a demo but the first time I started in 2005 until 2012. I still have some of those old stipple brushes. That sticky powder you used works way better than the heat and stick powder we used to have. If you don't use the money thinking maybe you could trim some of those stampin Up stipple brush has shorter to make them stiffer Maybe. Anyways love your cards my favorite absolutely is the purple one. I do remember using sticky tape just around the edges and then putting the gilding flakes on that to make like a faux border. I really love that embossing folder you used. What's the name of that one? Thanks for the fun

Funny, I don't remember us selling gilding flakes. We had the mica flakes and the wooly powder we used for baby bear but can't remember gilding flakes. How could I have missed having more fun back then? Great Idea about cutting down the brush, I only have a ton of them. The folder I used were Dainty Diamonds and Seabed 3D.

Watching at 2 am, thought I might get sleepy, but this has been a great night of "Gailisms" so much funl I have the Nuvo flakes, have not used it. May just say, " I've seen it used and it's really pretty"! Really do think it's pretty, just so messy.....I enjoyed watching you handle the mess! I'm not sure I understand this product. It sticks to "embossed images" but not to paper alone. It doesn't have to be a sticky surface? I so enjoy watching your videos, thanks for sharing your light!!

Thank you Jan! The embossing powder I used is embossing sticky powder. It's a special powder designed to turn into a sticky glue when heated. It's awesome! Stampin' Up! used to sell it and it was called heat n stick. We used to use it for heat embossing glitter. I will have to show that sometime.

Hey Gail, I got an idea from Kelly Acheson, for the tops of the dimensional’s, she would take a black pen and draw a line down each row. This way she would know when she took the backs off on your project! I hope you like the idea! I enjoy your art!

Love watching your videos. Thanks for posting them. I have to suggestions that have made my life easier that would help you with these issues: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07PWPD9KJ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1. The little desk top vacuum is wonderful and works for all sorts of things, it's quiet and takes up little space on your desktop. Versamark makes a marker that I find I often use. With it you would have been able to fill in the missing spots before adding the powder. I think you would use both of them often. Again, thanks!
