What an absolutely enrapturing, otherworldly sound. If this is what ancient warriors thought of when they said "They'll sing songs of our battles", I think I understand why they endured such brutality in such a tough world.

Thank you for bringing alive these very ancient voices to my western ears. Such an arcane and dark force that these Sumerians emanated from their art, in a unique and beautiful way. So much of our civilization can be traced back to them.. even in context of our Christian culture, Abraham was born in Uruk after all… makes you wonder

I feel glad and honored to have found Peter Pringle's channel a few years ago. Having access, *for free*, to artistic renditions of millenia-old legends truly is humbling. It's like staring at reconstructions of ancient artifacts in a museum. Sure they're not the *real* deal but you have to admit, this is incredible in terms of cultural preservation and accessibility. As I've done many times before, I'll show this to my friends next time we hang out. They will like it. Thank you for your work Mr Pringle. Your art has no equal. Can't wait for part two.
