Looks like a decent place to ride will have to give it a go sometime! What’s the black tape stuff on your levers?

Yeah it's a good spot for sure. They run once a month. It's lever tape, or I use wiring loom tape. Gives better grip and helps with control of the clutch. Lowers fatigue on the hands too
