My heart really goes out to Asa and her children. I imagine she has endured decades of abuse, mental, financial and god knows what else. To have raised a capable young woman and cared for a disabled son, while living with this man, tells me that she is a survivor. I pray that strength continues to carry her through this next horrific chapter.

I think Rex's double life was a escape from a family home that had a lot of problems going on. I actually feel the wife is the hoarder in the home and not Rex. But the very messy home allowed Rex to easily get away with murder. Sure the family are now victims in Rex's crimes, but to understand Rex you need to look very carefully at his upbringing & family environment, nothing seems normal. We are starting to get a feeling for the unusual life Rex has. And sure we know he can't eat his Pizza crusts, but why?

A lot of inmates abuse women. That’s not as rare as you might think. Half the jail is full of domestic abusers and rapists. He’ll probably do just fine because he’s intelligent and has knowledge of laws and such. I hope he suffers of course but these kinds of dudes tend to thrive in prison.

When those bodies were found at the beach 2010 ish didn't the wife think to herself wow every time one of these women went missing I was out of town didn't she question why was there a locked room in the basement didn't she know there were 300 guns in her home didn't she wonder where he was when he was out getting hookers all the time something just doesn't add up
