I find it interesting that they didn't use Rugal's sprites from KOF 95 in this edit, instead they edited his sprites from KOF 98 to look like he looked in KOF 95, I know a few edits that used these sprites. Don't get it wrong, I don't hate it in fact I think it's good, I think they used it because the characters sprites between KOF 96 and 99 are the most used and most popular among the fans since they were used for the majority of the characters until KOF XI.
