@@rrrusty49Yep. With James because she hears his accent and she immediately switches to an English accent. And then she turns back to her American accent when she is speaking to the other actor on the couch. It’s the same with John Barrowman. He uses American when in the US (and Doctor Who) but immediately switches to his Scottish when talking with his parents…or at Lorraine.

She doesn't do it intentionally. The first 20 years of her life, half of it was spent in the USA and other half UK. She said she switches accents without thinking about it, depending on who she's talking to.

She has both accents actually, I think it's called bi dialectical and it happens to some people who grow up or spend a long time in two different places. So in the US she has American, but in her European interviews, British.
