GILLIAN AYRES '88

In 1988 Gillian Ayres OBE RA invited me to film her at her home and studio in Cornwall. At that time it was impossible to imagine the possibility of editing video on a computer at home. I shot the complete documentary on a super 8 movie camera and had it transferred onto VHS video cassette.
Recently I had this converted to a digital file and re-edited the film for the Internet.
