Indeed, Gillian Welch and David Rawlings have magnificent taste when it comes to covering songs (i.e. Neil Young’s “Albuquerque,” Robert Earl Keen, Jr.’s “I’ll Go On Downtown” and Townes Van Zandt’s “Pancho And Lefty”). They perform them all splendidly.
