The most hardest thing is how to edit videos? And most people they don't show their work they gained too much views but showing their work they won't do it. I have samsung galaxy s10 plus I will try do it by myself the edit videos.

@@adrianalsabty7771 Video editing is way better done on a PC or Mac: a desktop computer, even a cheap one. And about it, actually video editing for the level required for KZbin ( I am indeed a video editor, so I know this...is not like channels creators are requesting generating particles or complex FX!) is extremely easier to achieve, learn and it be quite permanent knowledge (with later on just minimal, slight updates in knowledge or features, while the other knowledge requires more constant full change), and is something that is like 1 + 1 = 2. You learn it, you put it in practice, stuff gets done (of course, doing Hollywood level editing is other matter, but is not the case in YT). While earning money/social media promotion has a ton more variable factors, and in my opinion, is a lot more difficult, specially to make it effective. In the whole pack of what one needs (including charisma, or, having something of value to tell, or to entertain) , IMO video editing is probably the easiest. But I don't recommend it doing on a phone or tablet, not even Apple ones. There are many great video editing tutorials. Both free in KZbin (but please, research to only go for the best ones, or can be counter productive), or cheap at Skillshare and Udemy. If you can't afford professional software like the 24 $ or 60$ monthly subscription (the latter for the whole pack, needed even if you only handle Photoshop AND Premiere) varies a lot depending on the country) for the Adobe Cloud Suite, is no biggy, Davinci Resolve video editor, Hitfilm Express have free versions fully usable (and Affinity Photo(cheap, lifetime purchase) or Gimp(free) for image editing). Or the much more simpler and easier Vega video editor, or even simpler, Filmora. All these are great options that can get you there. My favorite in every aspect is Davinci Resolve, even if harder to learn. I hate subscriptions, but if you don't and have the money to waste every month, then the Adobe subscription is the industry standard and most complete. What I mean is that the path to learn basic video editing (all that you need, as much) is way easier than what Gillian (and others) is teaching or offering a guide about. That said, if planning on making money on the side while you build your channel, with video editing for middle and top channels, one is better off learning several video editors (at least Adobe Premiere) to be compatible with what each creator is handling. If it is only for you, whatever makes your life easier. I've handled Premiere, Davinci and Vegas. All great.

Thanks Gillian, I'm a fan. While I'm no where near you in subs or revenue... One thing that has doubled my revenue in just a few months was adding Channel Memberships. Even though I was less than the needed 30,000 subs at the time, I asked KZbin and they turned it on for me without notice. I just sent a note in the feedback area. It has made a huge difference in my revenue in about six months.

A major factor, even bigger than any of those you mentioned, I'm afraid, is is the company's and the viewer's nationality. US companies are the highest-paying in ads, whilst India's are some of the least, and thereby, 1M views from America may be like 5000USD, and from India may be only 1000 or less.

You are totally right. The CPM are very different for different countries and even for different markets in a country, even with the same niche.

This is correct, if you pay to advertise on KZbin (or Google) you pay by the "tier" of the country you are targeting. Tier 1 pays the most, Tier 3 the least. India (for advertising purposes) is a Tier 3 country, countries like the UK and Canada are Tier 2. The United States is the only Tier 1 country.

So sad that many KZbin channel are toiling to no avail because they are fixated on subscriber metrics and not seeing the bigger picture. Ideally one KZbin channel can open up 3 revenue streams off the platform and those would be far more lucrative for monitized conversions. KZbin AdSense should simply be icing on the delicious cake if done correctly

That's not exactly a full-time living once you consider business expenses and taxes. Where I'm at, taxes are about 40% for a self-employed person. When the government takes nearly half of what you make, those big numbers don't look so good anymore.
