Dawn was the real beauty queen, not Tina Louise (Ginger Grant) in "Gilligan's Island!" Dawn won the 1959 Miss Nevada contest, at 20, and competed in the 1960 Miss America contest. She rightly deserved everything that she received in her life that was still too short at 82 years. Tina paid her respects after hearing of Dawn's passing, saying how sweet she was.
