The summer of 2002 in WWE was one of the last great summers in the company’s history. You had the company changing its name to WWE, Steve Austin’s walkout, ruthless aggression, Eric Bischoff debuting, the rise of Brock Lesnar, HBK returning to wrestling, the Smackdown six, Rock leaving full time for Hollywood, John Cena’s debut, Rey Misterio’s debut, just so much great stuff happened that summer. No, I don’t even compare it to the summer of Punk either.

In Major League baseball if a player gets a 5 year 15 million dollar contract, and they get released, they still have to get all that money. WWE should be like that. Now I know they wouldn't voluntarily do that but that's how it should be. The wrestlers can't leave their contract unless WWE says so if WWE signs them that deal they should have to pay them that money no matter what.

@Gator Nation 15 Do you not realize WWE let JR go and he was setting home unemployed very unhappy? When AEW put JR back in the game and made him happy. Stop acting like JR working for AEW is as terrible as the Gators football program. Can you say bottom of the SEC? That’s where the Gators reside.
