I was deployed when this game was going on. i kept getting updated on facebook as it was happening. Watching it again brought back the crazy feeling during that time as there was a point where i could not take it. This was a great game to watch, i felt like i was in the stands and can remember what i was doing when i was deployed at the same time, crazy. Mustangs played very well as a unit during this past couple of year i have enjoyed reading and hearing about you guys! Jacoby made some outstanding plays, Chris you were amazing, Big 5 LB (sorry i dont know your name) but you made some fantastic reads and made a huge impact! Gilmer is no slouch either, I hear about you guys alot also...they (as in all Gilmer schools) usually put out the RGV during the playoffs when our Valley schools meet them in the playoffs. They rule the Region IV area. Thank you for posting this sir, I dont really get to go back home much and this was the first Mustang game i got to watch in over 15 years.

High school don't teach tackling anymore. That's one reason you see so many 70-50 scores. Plus the Mike Leach Syndrome, which is like the Corona Virus for high school and college football.
