I honestly cannot believe that people actually booed when you said you're "Team April." I am surprised that people are still bitter about that a story line that happened 10 years ago. April does not deserve any of the hate she gets, she was an innocent child who did nothing wrong. Luke and Lorelai were the cause of their own problems because of the way the handled the situation.

I agree that the story line sucks. However, I've seen more hate towards April herself, not the story line. Seems like people blame the character, not the writers.

People don't look from writers perspective and how important it is for story to properly introduce a character. People just know when something doesn't feels right and blame it on the characters. Its like you dislike some people and you're not sure why but you just do.

No idea if anyone else pointed this out, but in the scene with Anna and Luke talking on the phone, there's literally a Tiffany/whatever dragonfly lamp sitting behind Anna. She's LITERALLY Lorelai's double. Like, holy shit. There's at least one dragonfly lamp in the Dragonfly Inn that looks exactly like that, and now there's one in Anna's house???? Come on. lol

April totally wrecked the show. She's not a child now. It's fine lol. The actress didn't even like that she was going to do to Luke and lorelai. Luke didn't handle it correctly, not at all. I never watch after April appears anymore lol. ALSO TEAM JESS BABY!

+Sheila Carty Respectfully, I'm in complete agreement with Kevin on LG's superior "face acting!" Stage actors often have difficulty in transitioning to t.v./film work because they need to learn to tone down exaggerated body work (needed to reach the back rows) in favor of realistic actions and nuanced face acting (which doesn't reach the audience in stage productions). But in LG's case, she takes it to a whole level higher in her talent and skill to convey complexity of emotions and story beyond her words, or even without words. For an extreme contrast, consider an actor botoxed to the nines performing Lorelai's role in the diner as she learns about April. Then consider an actor using expressions as obvious as Jim Carrey in "The Mask" for the same scene. Point being, there are a wide range of choices an actor can make even when not being filmed in close-ups, and some actors are better at it then others. Lauren Graham has shown her consistent superiority in this area throughout her career, which I believe demonstrates that it she has developed face acting deliberately as part of her skill set.

34:10 Kevin says "it is creepy that Luke would have dated this women...and then be attracted to the exact same woman née twelve years later". Kevin CLEARLY has no idea what née means. Née means originally called or born, and is usually used in reference to someone's maiden name, but also would be whatever name they were named at birth, if they got adopted or for whatever reason changed their name at any point. Lorelai's birth name isn't Lorelai Victoria Gilmore, it is Lorelai Victoria Twelve Years Later. What does Kevin know that we don't‽
