I believe this is the best episode of GIl's Arena to date. The conversation was balanced and full of mutual respect. I think the show is better when guests visit the show, because it gives everyone incentive to listen more and ask more questions, so that everyone is conversing rather than arguing. That, and both Andre and Evan seem like charismatic, self-aware people, at least in terms of the NBA part of their lives.

Question is for the guys that say you gotta play D1 or pro to have an opinion on hoops or a locker room, Spo never played college ball etc. But he is leading men to winning records etc. Every year in Miami.. thoughts?
@mentalprograming5365 Жыл бұрын
my thoughts are it depends on the context.. realistically spo is a head coach before that he was around the highest level of basketball (NBA) since a teen being taught by one of the top 5 greatest nba coaches in basketball history (pat riley) i think they mean besides nba people (players. coaches. people in the video room. broudcasters. etc) outside of these people i think they mean or whoever means that you gotta play D1 or pro to have an opinion.. because all coaches can have an opinion because they are literally in the locker rooms and have full access to the locker rooms.. if they mean as a player having an opinion then i can see that but if they mean as anyone on earth then idk.. it depends on the context, sometimes things are said with no context and people just keep talking without completely explaining themselves because others may not want to ask or others may just get it.. other than that idk
@GetDown_LayDown Жыл бұрын
@@mentalprograming5365 I feel like basketball is the only sport where the pros are so sensitive to any opinion said of the sport. It’s a spectator sport anyone who actually has an interest or has played should have an opinion. Whether it’s valid or not Is up to their peers. MJ is one the greatest but we see how he managed Charlotte, or in contrast Joe Rogan being the greatest MMA commentator ever yet he has never competed professionally. Spectator sport are to be opinionated and is ultimately fueled by the fan idk why NBA players get so butt hurt😂
