I agree 💯. The worst part is if Poole was still on the warriors they'd still probably be a potential title contender. The guy added a lot of depth if you watched them play. When he was on fire, he was pretty much a younger Steph. How they gave that up and why anyone thought that was a good move is still mind-blowing to me. Dude had a lot of upside and seemed to play well with Klay and steph

He also contributed to this, KD wanted out cause of draymond, Draymond punched his teammate and wasn't disciplined, he drafted wiseman (they needed a big just like him but ultimately he was injured and he didn't have time to develop on this championship team,) did not make any moves to get another big over the last couple of years when that's been killing them in crucial games especially against the lakers last postseason

The Warriors were up there with the greatest teams but if KD wasn't a superstar without a spine they wouldn't have lived as a dynasty, they would've had 2022 type of championships, which are still great because repeats and dynasties are very rare. It's interesting though to think about what they could've done in these years without Draymond creating that incident, a straight up knock-out, unlike any other locker room scuffle. After all Curry would've still been reliable even if they had to face a decline anyway despite being functional and recent champions

There’s a very interesting is that with the Warriors that’s really telling: when Jonathan Kuminga plays 30 minutes or over, they win every time. But Steve Kerr always plays him about 28 to 29 minutes. For some reason he doesn’t trust him even though he’s got all the energy in the world. It’s extremely frustrating for most of us fans of the team.

It ended when draymond decided to punch Poole and Klay being stubborn. Kerr trying to ride it out with his championship team, but the veterans are not talented enough, but they are being good vets to the young guys. Klay needs to go to Kerr and get Kamings and wigs into the game to see what they can really do. Curry came off the bench for a few games last year to not impact the chemistry since Poole and Wiggins were doing great. When a team has curry averaging 30 with a few role players who have been there for time (moody, Kamings, Wiggins) you gotta let them sink or swim.

That punch was loaded it was not just about Draymond it was about keeping the pecking order and k putting Klay and dray back in the center. They have to move Klay out the way and let kuminga add some versatility
@mwebster3265

Exactly. 👍 GP2 should be working on his 3's and Middies. Wiggins should be told EVERY game to be aggressive on Offense. Kuminga should be modeling his game after Tatum and Brown...without all the 3's and Isos. He's should play like Rui..with more slashing. The team isn't evolving. Once you saw Klay start falling off due to his injuries...it was time to adjust. Then you needed Boogie or Dwanna Howard (Dwight) to help Looney for the Joker, Embid, Giannis and now Wemby. Kuminga could play "Help Defense" on them. The West got too many nasty Guards and Perimeter Players for GS to handle. Klay too slow now. 🤷🏾‍♂

Because it's recency bias. Steph's resume speaks for itself and he's proven that he can still be at the top of his game. The problem actually starts with Kerr. He has had a long history of riding with his star players and living with the result. It's why he blew a 3-1 lead and let Draymond continue to do Draymond things even after he got suspended in the finals and then blew up a championship roster. Kerrs staff has always been stellar and some of those assistant coaches went on to get HC jobs. Kerr has to get his head out of his ass and shift the offense towards the young guys and curry. Klay and draymond cannot keep doing what they've been doing. They now need to play the vet roles and be player coaches. Either way, I think it's too late. They are at the point where the season is almost half way done, unless they gut their roster they don't have big moves to make.

The problem Gil is that Kuminga and Moody developing and Klay stepping aside only happens if Kerr changes their minutes, but he's still giving Klay huge minutes and Kuminga and Moody are getting benched or DNP's. Kuminga's getting free throws. I don't know how many games it adds up to but I heard a stat that the Warriors haven't lost when Kuminga gets 30+ mins. They need a rim protecting big and a stretch power forward. That way they can play Kuminga as a 3 and move on from Wiggins & Looney.

Watching this with the Warriors it just makes me think. Yes, Krause came from a petty moment with it. But.... ending the Bulls they way they did, adds to their legendary story. If they had stayed together, would we be talking about the Bulls like this. I know I'm speaking heresy, but if we watched them come apart like this. Would we be talking about them the same way? Two years later are they still getting past the Pacers... only to face Shaq and Kobe?

Every time I see kaminga he's just standing around on offense he sometimes cuts to the basket for rebounds but that's not often enough if he got to the basket every time for a rebound and get the rebound every time. On defense s*** if he just watched The Defenders and helped out when they started jumping or getting ready to shoot he'd get a lot more blocks and then they'd be probably the best team in the league

I think curry needs to start at least thinking about this question: Do you want to be a “one team player” and be content with the squad getting worse and worse like Kobe, dirk, etc. or do you want to leave and continue playing for a chip? There's nobody they can really get rn that will put them over the top. Even if they trade klay and dray, their value is so low rn if I was the other team I wouldn't really want to trade a star (which is what they need) for those guys.

1:56 Bruh this take is the exact reason why the Warriors need to find a way to trade CP3, Klay and Andrew Wiggins. They need to trade them to the Hawks for Murray & Capela then start Kumgina at Small Forward then play Moody more with Pod as our Back PG. Curry/Pod Murray/Moody Kuminga/GP2 Draymond/Saric Capela/Looney/Jackson-Davis This roster should be enough to make the playoffs💯💯 But if they keep this current roster it’s over they’re not even making the play in
