첫번째 솔로앨범 "BREAK DOWN"에서 거칠고 강한 남자로 새로운 모습을 보여준 김현중이 이번에는 시크한 댄디가이로 180도 변신하여 가요계에 컴백한다.
"BREAK DOWN" 을 통해 솔로가수로 화끈한 신고식을 치른 후 4개월 만에 두번째 솔로앨범 "LUCKY"을 가지고 국내와 아시아 전역의 관심을 또 한번 집중 시키고 있다.
이번 앨범도 역시 자신이 직접 컨셉, 기획 등 앨범 대부분의 영역에서 솔로 아티스트의 역량을 발휘 했으며, 김현중과 함께 "BREAK DOWN"의 성공을 일군 STEVEN LEE가 또 한번 프로듀서를 맡았고, 히트메이커 태완 a.k.a C-Luv 를 새로운 전담 프로듀서로 영입하며 한층 더 완성도 있는 앨범 만들어 냈다.
첫번째 타이틀곡 "LUCKY GUY"는 리드미컬한 일렉기타와 화려한 브라스 세션이 조화를 이룬 락밴드 사운드를 기본으로 제작된 아메리칸 업템포 펑키락 곡 이다. 평소 밴드음악에 관심이 많았던 김현중이 '춤 추며 들려줄 수 있는 밴드 음악' 이라는 아이디어를 제작 초기부터 직접 전달하는 애정을 보였으며, 락 밴드 데이브레이크, 펑크소울 밴드 커먼그라운드의 멤버들을 세션멤버로 직접 초빙하여 강렬하면서 신선한 사운드를 완성했다.
그리고 "BREAK DOWN"과 "제발 (PLEASE)" 의 안무를 담당한 LYLE BENIGA 가 또 한번 전담 안무가로 참여, 음악과 퍼포먼스 그 어떤 것도 놓칠 수 없는 무대를 선보일 예정이다.

I read few articles and it was said that he actually used violance against his gf on few occassions. And he admited that he did. I'm sorry i just don't understand how he's all innocent?
