why everyone is so sure that JH will choose CH's side? maybe he tries to protect his mom against CH and go full jon snow on her!

Do you really think after knowing his mother wrongdoing he would protect his mother.... He will be hurt by her action and maybe distance himself from her...if she ever gonna have a relationship with her son again she need to atone for her past action and face it. This is about more than just choosing side. it is also about a mother that wrongly thought she protected her youngest son by framing KSW for JG hit and run. In the prosess she hurt 4 people JG, KSW, CA and JH.

Well, for one I think that JH made his choice quite clear than he told his mother off, that if she revealed the truth to CA, JH would not leave CA, and that he broke up, to spare CA (though it came out anyways). And secondly I think the developement of his character speaks for itself and which I find personally most heartbreaking in the entire drama. In the beginning he seemed to be quite isolated, but had a good relationship with his brother. It really broke JH to lose JG. And moreover he had no consolation, because the letter revealed that it was a suicide,but for 10years JH couldn't talk about it,because his mother simply stop him at every attempt. And I think meeting CA, is helping him to finally heal. The truth is finally revealed and I think they mirror each other. CA is totured about JGs death by nearly everyone and feels indepted since he saved her,even though not in the way she told them. And maybe she feels guilty that she fell asleep and couldn‘t stop JG. JH is totured inwardly, since he knows the truth but has no one to talk to, instead has to play along with the 'accident' version. And he probably feels guilty that he couldn't stop them, although he had been so close (his brother dropped some fairly obvious hints about the suicide beforehand). And there is this line about ‘meeting an interesting girl, that makes me reconsider dying'. That is a pretty strong reason for JH to protect CA against his mother. That she came closer to saving JG, than all the other people and that it was really not her fault that he killed himself,on thd contrary.
